Strong showing at Heartbreak Ridge and we may have deadlocked a FNG (CarFax) in to joining going forward. After a mosey (as I was told a fairly quick mosey) to warmup, we headed to the upper parking lot for some leg workouts( Dora of 100 Lunges, 200 Calf Raises, and 300 Squats). Then a mosey to the bottom of the hill for a chest workout (and definitely Homer’s favorite), Clockwork Merkins. YHC had a pupcation for this summers break. Unfortunately the beach house that was reserved the year before ended up not allowing pets. So the M and 2.0 headed down to join the rest of the family and YHC stayed back with Daisy our new puppy … Then YHC get’s a call hey there is a campground close by y’all could come visit for a day or two… On the way baby !! Seven trail runners declared their independence from the tyranny of a centralized egomaniacal monarch, set their own courses, and tackled today’s edition of Sunday Funday. Conditions were genuinely 70 and sunny. According to Routes were South then North. Some, perhaps energized by the late start (7:01 a.m.) set off fast and crushed it. Some did the normal amount.
