Twenty five well dressed gentlemen met in the parking lot of Hoedown for this year’s Labor Day Convergence. There was ample poking and prodding at PAX members pre-launch; one can only assume it was due to the extra hour and a half of sleep. Or it was the anticipation of free coffee and croissants. Regardless, 0700 clicked and off we went. I am trying to track down a guy whose F3 name is “Clown Cars” — possible last name is “Tedesco.” He participated in the GrowRuck a few years ago. Any leads would be appreciated — especially a hospital name and mobile number. Thanks! F3 Johnsonville (flbiggs@gmail.com)

Brothers – there is a consensus to have Thursday’s Town Hall exclusively on ZOOM using the same link as we use for 3rd F (below). We will start at 8PM. ALL PAX are invited to an open discussion about our Region, and how we can pull together post-Pandemic to support and refresh what makes F3RVA unique and effective. Zoom Meeting ID:  822 7005 7337 (PW on Slack)

Brothers, please save the date – the PAX of RVA are invited two weeks from today on July 8th for an open conversation, Town Hall style, to pull our Nano regions together and develop strategies for helping our Region grow in all 3 F’s. Venue is TBD, but expect an 8pm start. If you have any great ideas for how you would like to see F3RVA grow, start writing them down. Best, Dr TryHard

35 PAX converged downtown again for our annual Memorial Day convergence. Weather was a good 30 degrees cooler than in 2019 but the PAX worked up an ample sweat. COP on Browns Island then split up PAX into 2 groups. Group 1 had Qs from YHC, Corned Beef, Upchuck, and Helix. Upchuck tried to kill the PAX with 11s on the Westrock steps. We were asked to leave the stairs midway through, rumors of a PAX flashing a security guard to have us kicked off were never confirmed but seem plausible. PAX 2 had Handshake Q at the start then…

Eight strong men from all over the metro RVA area made their way to Satan’s Hill located in New Market for the New Year Convergence. YHC gets why the turnout was so low. The incredible challenge and skill level to takle Satan’s Hill isnt for everyone. Fortunately for todays PAX, we would visit the hill only once. Please come back as Satan’s Hill is used often! Here is how it went down. Short COP, make way up Satan’s Hill for the popular Cul De Sack Tour. YHC has struggled to get EVERY one covered in 45 minutes, but with an…

The GridIron Pax will host a Convergence at 7:00AM on Labor Day, September 7, 2020. The venue will be at the GridIron AO, Pouncy Tract Park, Short Pump, VA. We are planning a 1 hour bootcamp followed by a socially-distanced coffeeteria on site. We will have coffee and a simple breakfast menu of sausage and egg bagels. There will be no charge for breakfast, but we will be collecting donations for CrossOver Healthcare Ministry, which is currently handling a lot of COVID testing and providing much needed healthcare support to hard-hit communities. More info can be found at https://www.crossoverministry.org/. If…
