A diligent dozen descended on campus to celebrate…something. Here the route: 4s, 5s, 6s: Fairway to Iris to Grove, heading East… 4s and 6s: Left on Tuckahoe to Seneca and return to Grove: 4s: Return from whence you came…Iris to commons 5s and 6s: Right on Greenway (south). Cross Cary to Ampthill. Take to bottom and return back to Cary via Paxton. Cross to Tuckahoe, then to Grove. Return to Iris/Commons. Saab abides (when able).

Nine dudes, including the dude himself, posted for today’s Spider Run. Route was posted yesterday in an alternate channel but everyone still got it. Devil’s pitchfork for all that braved the rain. Route Everyone stay on the road and head to River River to Westham Station up South Ridge to the light 4s return 5s hit Highland on the way back 6s hit Highland, Old Bridge, and Panorama Numbers (clockwise), names (also clockwise), and YHC took us out. A dirty dozen arrived for a tour-de-grooooove. Here’s the thing… 4’s 5’s 6’s all head up Fairway to Iris, past St Stephens to Grooooove. Heading East, 4’s and 6’s tale left on Seneca which loops around to Tuckahoe, and on back to Grove. 4’s head back to Iris whence they came 5’s and 6’s take Tuckahoe south to Cary. Cross and get on Paxton…take to bottom and return up Ampthill. Cross from Ampthill to Greenway to Grooooove. 5’s return via Iris. 6’s return via Campus entrance (via access road parallel to Three Chopt), then run past stadium before returning. Saab…

According to the campus police who saw a 55 year – no wait! – a 58 year old man hurriedly running to class with a text book under his arm, the workout today looked something like this. We launched and did the isomer arrangement of the snake river route. 4s to the fork, 5s did the left fork of the serpent’s tongue, and 6s did both forks. There was a rucking option too, complete with good conversation. YHC took us out.

Twelve misty eyed pavement pounders y un perro gathered in the gloom to hear what was in store today. Luckily, everyone either saw the routes posted or payed attention as no one go lost. Fifteen able bodied athletes gathered in the grey moonlight for a great spider run experience. After blazing through instructions, as almost everyone saw the route posted last night, of we went. Routes were heavy so almost everyone was late. Some more than others. The Route By the lake, around the baseball field, left on College Right on Lakewood, right on Wood, left on Baldwin, right on Westham, left on Baldwin, left on Rock Creek, left on Forest, right on University 4s, 5s, 6s all do Essex 5s, 6s do Dinwiddie and Nelson 6s do Nalla and Glendale Return on University…

Thirteen on foot gathered for multiple purposes at today’s Spider Run. Most runners were fully aware of what was in store, and they still showed up. Some runners opted for rucking. Then there were walkers. If you chose the run portion, here’s what we did. The Route Slowsy as a group on the main road, crossing 1 bridge (sorry Upchuck), before convening on the far side of the intramural field. ….and they cannot lie. A glorious 17 beat the weather for some of the Spider Run’s best miles. Take the bat cave and across the bridge to head upstream. 4s turn at Butte and return. 5s take a left on Waumsetta, a left on Old Spring, and a left on Butte to return. 6s continue to Hickory, a left on Cherokee, a left on Waumsetta, a right on Old Spring, and a left on Butte to return.
