11pm Thursday, Twin Team has no Q. Y’all know the rest of the story… Mosey to the summit of Twin Team (dropping flower pots and cones along the way) for a quick COP: DQ, Russian Soldiers, Helicopters, Cotton Pickers. Then run to each successive cone, do an exercise, and return to the summit. 1 – Bear Crawl back to summit2 – 30 derkins3 – 30 uphill WWIIs4 – partner relay: one run to previous cone & back while other alternates hand-release merkin and 5-count plank5 – 20 burpees As YHC has moved farther from the AO, this is likely the…

Spring Break and the cold weather seems to have kept a few of the regular RiverRunners away for the morning. The three that made it discussed YHC’s original plans to do some hill repeats but decided to wait for another day with more PAX to get that done. A flatter yet still repetitive route was chosen, the River loop. Down into the park around the loop and back to the school loop – repeato until 0615. 1 loop is slightly less than 2 miles. Some extra or adjustment here and there to get the time to work out right Great…

Seven suspects came out on April Fools day to see if it indeed might be an All Burpee-Beast. Turns out only Toga would do that to the PAX but we did do our share of Burpees. COP – Invisible Jump Rope, Don Qs, Russian Soldiers, Merkins, Freddy Mercurys. Head over to bowl field for the Beast: Round 1 Burpees, R2 Merkins, R3 WWIIs, R4 JumpSquats, R5 LBCs, Round 6 Burpees Again. Then head over to playground to introduce Batteau pax to: Chazz Michael Michaels: 3 Rounds of 8. Then 3 sets of 25 Boxing Dying Roaches. Then set of Pickle…

Old Glory flew around parts of Westham this morning as 7 able bodied men attack the Inaugural Old Glory workout at Hoedown. The following is what YHC could remember: No COP! Grab Shovel Flag and complete a 1 mile run from TES to Trinity Methodist by way of a route through Westham. Plant Shovel Flag at the corner of Forest and Rock Creek and identify the following four corners to the PAX: Corner 1 – Forest and Rock Creek complete 20 Merkins Corner 2 – Back parking lot corner to the rear right of church property complete 20 Jump Squats…

4 men started their Sunday off right with some running and rucking. 2 for an out and back to Timberwolf and 2 for a ruck around Midlothian. A short stop for coffee at Urban Farmhouse afterwards made for a great start to the day. Off the books is unofficially back on now, if you want to run early on Sunday touch base with Honeymoon or I, no guarantees we’ll be there but we’ll try. Wilson and Recall can be convinced to do a little rucking from there too.

YHC showed up to Tomato Run and quickly figured out it would be a solo ruck. Mudface is out of town on business, and YHC later learned Spit’s household was besieged by a stomach bug. YHC set off at a pretty fast clip, mainly because it was cold and the pace made it slightly less so. 3 miles later, with nary another soul (F3 or other) sighted, the day was off to a good start. As usual, I have No Idea what I’m doing.

We will be moving the Wednesday April, 3rd Roller Coaster hill run to the parking lot behind Palani Drive (401 Libbie Avenue). We will meet in the parking lot and have a hard start at 5:30pm. We will then run up and down some nearby hills and then retreat back to Palani Drive for HDHH! If you cannot make the run, please join us at the restaurant. Runners should be back by 6:15pm or so. This is the week of most public school’s Spring Break. Also, there is outdoor seating at Palani Drive, which will be key for those that…

With most of F3’s faithful unable to shake off the fart sack from too much basketball and beer, 3 noble warriors bucked the trend for some punishment on RVA’s finest trails. With no one sure who had the Q and the clock hitting 7am, the PAX took off across the Boulevard Bridge for a 6-7 mile route following the Buttermilk and North Bank trails. Name-a-rama. YHC took us out in prayer. NMS. It was great running with Tonka and Flipper as I got to know these 2 great dudes much better. Our conversation ran the gamut from the differences between…
