8 men braved the weather and beat the fartsacks this morning to witness the VQ of Chowdah. The SF was planted and the PAX got to work. 3 Steely old veterans and 3 Wednesday hill run virgins converged on hillcrest on a nice Wednesday afternoon.  1 veteran rider posted at 2 minutes after, but found the group.  70 and sunny was the weather (75 if you looked at the Hampton Roads weather app) The Thang: 3 long loops around Hillcrest, Old Orchard, Hillwood, Chairman, Poplar, Pocahontas and Hillcrest again.  The first counterclockwise, the second clockwise and the 3rd counterclockwise. 5 soldiers braved the weather forecast and were treated to a 45 minute reprieve from the heavy stuff. The beatdown went something like this: COP: SSH, Abe Vigodas, Hillbillies, Merkins Mosey to Twin Team After crossing Robious, circle up at end of Twin Team for 10 burpees OYO Line up towards the base for Rosie Hill: Escalating # of strides up Twin Team, return to starting point and perform assigned exercises. A Lucky 13 showed up to run.  No bikers, just running. Today’s route was the Carillon in cuatro, cinco, and seis mile variants. BT took us out.
