Brief mumble chatter until the route was called and off we went on Reverse Carillon. Great conversation along the way, and even a Sippy Cup spotting. I invite the PAX to come out to the 12th Annual Shawn G. Hogan Memorial Beer Mile. For those that have not heard, Shawn was a very dear friend of mine and former college roommate of Handshake’s. Shawn lived a life of adventure and sadly he was killed in an Army training incident 12 years ago. Shawn and I ran cross country in college and enjoyed beer. Seven man wolfpax hit Timberwolf this morning for a nice and easy workout. Here is how it went down: Warmup: Jog from flag back to the roundabout to check out the epic full moon this morning. Really stunning sight right as you came around the roundabout this AM. Mosey back to bus loop area for various stretches. Thang: Two triple checks. One leg focused (squats and lunges). After going all the way to five last week, this week we fell back to two, and it would be one if I would not drive Tonka with me. Where is everyone? Pig Skin had grandkids to take care of, but what about everyone else? Anyhow, we went in opposite direction this week to the end of Three Chopt road, but still did 11s: Hand Release Merkins on one side and Squats on the other (sorry, I am not very original). By the time we got back to the Flag the time was up. Total distance 3.5 miles.

We had a crowd! Five instead of regular three. We have not done 11s in a while, so this is what we did after some running: Merkins on one side and Squats on the other. On the way back it turns out we had extra time left, so we went around the lake and did three rounds of 20 derkins, 20 dips, 20 Freddies. Back to the flag with total distance around 4 miles. Great job everyone! Sorry for a delay… I am working on it.
