4 studs posted for roller coaster this evening and here is how it went down. Change of plans – meet @ Mary (for safety reasons) Hillcrest still pretty slick… Kubota and Husky 2 laps (Ruck Style) around the school. TYA – Swirly – Old School 4 mile loop on grove – Grove to Malvern back to Grove up Three Chopt back down grove to Mary = Boom! Great job guys beautiful night for a run. A little crazy with the left over snow and the 5 pm traffic on Grove – but all in all a solid run. See y’all…

3 jugglers posted and finally emerged from their warm vehicles right at 0530 for an Ice Cold Potato beatdown that went like this: COP (Gumbo) including SSHs, DQs, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Merkins and Freddie Mercuries THE THANG: Burp in a Box (Gumbo) – 5 parking lot spaces and an ice-free (relatively) loop around the parking lot.  1 burpee in the first space, run a lap, 2 burpees in the second space, run a lap…repeato until 5 burpees in the last space and a lap. toss the snow ball to Bullseye  and mosey down to the far bus loop for some…

19!  That is the number of studs willing to navigate the ice and snow this morning for what would be a challenge for YHC to conduct a seamless routing.  To YHC’s knowledge, we were free of any injuries due to icy conditions. 5:30 and were off to the nearest circle.  COP: Couple of laps around the circle to get the blood pumping, DQ’s, Windmills…sort of, SSH’s, Hillbillies, Russian Soldiers, LBC’s, WW1 snow angels…YHC was not heavy enough to break through the top layer of ice to form a good angel. The Thang: Stay in circle, full PAX to one side. …

A PAX of 3 dutifully exited the warmth of the fartsack, diligently scraped their windshields, and showed up in the cold and gloom that was Heartbreak Ridge. Conspicuously absent, however, was the Q. PAX took a few laps around the surprisingly large parking lot to give the Q time to arrive, and also took note of how tall the snowbanks around the perimeter are. PAX then decided on a hot potato: EF Hutton: COP: SSH, helicopters, arm circles, copperhead squats Triple Check #1: squats, LBCs, run the lot & back Mr. Holland: Burpee march across the lot, stopping for one…

10 Spider regulars opted for a flat start at Grove and Libbie, although ice was still prevalent, the running ensued. 3 Routes Down Grove to 195,4 Mile, to Cleveland, 5 Miles, or Davis, 6 miles, with the added option of running for 23 minutes and just turn around. TYA took us out. Moleskin When YHC arrived at the alternate AO, Big Blue, had three occupants, TYA, Kubota, and of Course, Swirly. As YHC entered the vehicle, TYA had already belted himself in – Safety First. No worries, YHC easily climbed around. TYA began to explain the route down Grove, across…

9 Snow Men arose this morning, dug out, and posted to a mainly safe Q by YHC. To say the parking lot was safe at No Toll is a stretch, but YHC arrived to secure and observe the AO-developing the Q as YHC went along! 0530-1st declaration..men be safe running to the COP. And as the PAX moseyed to COP, YHC observed Dr. Tryhard go down and immediately YHC goes down too. YHC thinks Bullseye went down too. YUP, ice everywhere!! More caution needed….stay on the white stuff……large patch of white stuff found for COP……COP= x 25 SSH, x 20…

Four warriors stepped onto the frozen tundra of Atlee High School for a 24 degree snowy beatdown.  Wait a minute, Helix is in shorts and a t-shirt.  It must be sunny and 70 again in F3RVA!  This is what occurred. Mosey to bus loop COP 40 SSH IC 10 Don Quixotes IC 15 Arm Circles (10 small, 5 big) IC / Reverso 10 Ball Dippers IC 10 Merkins IC 10 Angles Knee Bends IC 10 Foot to Hand Mountain Climbers IC 10 Merkins IC 20 LBCs Mosey to Chickahominy Track and Partner Up Activity #1 – Partner Carry around the…

Glad to see EF Hutton in the LHES parking area as YHC crossed the school yard ahead of the first Punisher in December.  We moseyed to the Hermitage Road side of the school for a startup COP with conversational offerings of most of the usual – Imaginary Jump Ropes, DQs, IWs, Russian Soldiers, Helicopters, and Arm Circles. Quick mosey to the outdoor classroom for Elevens with Derkins and Squats.  Jogged around the back to the playground for playground swing with Jerkins alternating with some Mary.  Moved to the far northeastern corner of the school ground for sidewalk square escalator alternating…

A PAX of nine posted at for the first GridIron of December 2018.  After brief greetings we hit the football field for our soft entry COP.  We opened with alternating SSHs and Mountain Climbers – starting with 20 of the former and 19 of the latter and reducing the reps by one until we reached zero.  Followed with some of the usual – DQs, Hillbillies, Helicopters, Arm Circles, and so forth. Group moderate mosey to the Strikers gravel parking lot.  Break into three groups of 3.  First group completes Derkins on wooden parking bollards nearest Pouncey Tract Road.  Second group…
