Five of Short Pumps finest found the Wellesley Tunnel and the secret tennis courts to do some exercises up and down the “H”. During the search we did some warmups in the lot next to the lake: Ukrainian soldiers, DQ, Helicopters, arm circles, lbc and merkins. When we got to the courts we started with 5 burpees at the middle of the “H” and then 25 WWII at every end of the “H” (100 total) with another 5 burpees every time you crossed the middle. All OYO. Some crossed the middle every time and did 20 burpees and some did…

Five dedicated PAX showed up bright and early at 5:30 AM, finding nothing better to do than to tackle a run. Among us were four regulars and a special guest from Houston. Our visitor shared that 80 degrees with high humidity is typical Houston weather from April to October. Despite his assurance that we had nothing to complain about, we did anyway. We kicked off our run towards Duck Lake. After a warm-up, we looped around the lake, stopping for 20 Dips, 15 Derkins, and 20 two-count Flutters at each loop. We managed to complete four loops before time ran…

6 pax of WTH met at sunrise beside the lake to get Stoned. There was for sure some huffing and absolutely some puffing as we got burned out by the Stones. We have work to do: Let’s move! We had five this morning. Reminds me of a classic Sesame Street skit from the 70s. “Gimme Five” was performed on Sesame Street in 1979. The singing group “The Lovers of Five” (consisting of Gordon, Bob, David, and Luis) sang of their admiration for the number 5 on a stage adorned with numbers. The song is a parody of “Float On” by the Floaters. I will post a clip on the Slack stream. The four regulars welcomed our guest Pitmaster from Charlottesville F3 and we danced and sang just like the Lovers of Five. Our dance numbers included WW2s, HRM…

This morning, five dedicated PAX gathered for a workout, delighted to welcome back Roger-Roger. We kicked off with a run to the Church Run parking lot, where we had a brief warm-up before diving into our first set of elevens: Hand-release Merkins and Squats. We completed the first round and moved on to the second set, which featured Carolina Dry Docks and WWII Sit-ups. Due to time constraints, we shortened the distance by half but maintained the intensity. After completing both rounds of elevens, we ran back to the flag, concluding our 4-mile journey. At the COT, we conducted the…

Seven HIM’s converged at WaThoHuk including a couple SOJ takeover BFF’s. Pigskin split off do 10,000 merkins around the school while the rest followed DTH giving House Party a tour of the area. After a brief warmerama we took a broad loop running around the park, west broad village, and middle school, stopping every 100 yards or so for some variable OYO reps. House Party commented toward the end he must have misheard about all the running, but he hang tough and saw it through. Total distance was 3.89 miles. All PAX were sufficiently satisfied. Great to meet and get…

Three warriors and part time garbage men ran to Short Pump Park for a trashy workout. I hurt my wrist and got a nice raspberry from softball last night. Then in between picking up trash, we did a modified double quarter pounder.
