Five posted for last week’s Punisher. Met in the usual parking lot at the southeast corner of LHES property facing a stiff, cold breeze from the west. We may need to get a Solo Stove for the AO. Mosey to the side yard for COP with some of the usual warm up items but with Imaginary Jump Ropes after every called set. Move to the nearby outdoor classroom. Pick a side of a picnic table and complete 10 Incline Merkins followed by 10 Step Ups per leg. Continue, dropping a rep, from nine down to one, pausing in Al Gore…

Three in the Splinter household noodled on a meal for Breaking Bread before settling on something that had no noodles. Enchiladas were called and delivered to our friends down on Belt Boulevard. For those that haven’t signed up, sign up. Upchuck couldn’t make it any simpler. It’s a great organization and they are ever so grateful for the support we provide them on a regular basis.

4 Ruckers took to the streets around Mumford to find some hills and good conversation. Variations in footwear, ruck styles, and attire did not slow us down. Doozy got a good tour of the area in the light since he is only familiar with the 45Mom area in the dark. Main discussion centered around whether the ghost of Marcel Marceau still haunts the streets of Windsor Farms at night. Sunday afternoon ruck the afternoon of the Super Bowl is on the calendar. Come and burn some calories before the big game.

Numbers, names, YHC took us out. NMMS: many thanks to Boberry for the company and wise counsel during our run. It’s always a privilege to start the day with you HIMs. Make it a great one!

4 runners took off wary of black ice and poor road conditions. All we found was bitter cold wind instead. Gomer did his Walking thing while other 3 did: pump to falconbridge all the way to Ridgefield. Ridgefield to Pump then loop around school. Handshake took us out.
