This run is over to the small neighborhood off Douglasdale and the Powhite Parkway. The route in the neighborhood forms a cross. Sippy led this a few years back, and it poured. Seven steadfast stallions of F3RVA met up for a 2F at The Answer Brewpub Tuesday night to hang and chat with the QIC – our correspondent from a mile in the sky – Fuddski. Good times we’re had by all. I hear they serve good beer. The wings were on point. Good to have you around, Fudd. As always

3 showed up for a morning run and see map below of our route: We also added the BoJangles loop to go over 4 miles and this was a hot one. Numberama, Namerama YHC took us out. HAve a great day gents and I will SYITG….CB!

7 studs from near and far kicked off their Summer Tour with an intense game of Ultimate Frisbee at the Forge. YHC provided a little warm-up COP in time for Fresh Prince to arrive and make the teams uneven. The small soccer field and low numbers provided for a fast-paced game, where the team of three got their legs run off and the team of four typically made the touchdown. We flip-flopped the extra man enough times to be generally confused who was actually on each team, and it was impossible to keep score. The secret sauce in the end…

Already 80 and 1000% humidity when YHC arrived at TCMS. Dracula rolled in a minute later and the New Market crew right at go time. Here’s what went down… Mosey around school for COP: SSHs, Russian Soldiers, DQs, Cherry Pickers, LBCs, Merkins Head to the tennis court for 7 of Diamonds: Round 1: At each corner – 7 burpees Round 2: 14 merkins Round 3: 21 2-count American Hammers Round 4: 28 squats Supposed to come back down, but YHC was bored with that so we moseyed to the field for another favorite. 15 buff Gozerians agreed to cross streams and combine their psychokinetic energies in today’s edition of 45MOM of Mary / Jerry / Gary / Larry. Conditions were 70 and sunny. Eight studs posted on a steamy Sunday morning for a trail run. Route was Northbankt trail to Tredegar, Tredegar to Mayo bridge, flood wall to buttermilk, buttermilk to access road and bsck across the nickel bridge. 8 mile in total, despite what some of the Pax thought. We took a swim in the river on the way back just before the nickel bridge. Water was glorious. I was drier after getting out of the water that before I went in. Saab donned his speedo. TYA OUT

4 Pax declined the lure of the dinner time Couch Sack and cast off for an evening paddle. Two came from home; two from the prior workout. Conditions: flat water, good river camaraderie, 70/sunny. According to the teenagers jumping into the swimming hole, here’s most likely what happened: Route: East/southeast on the James (downstream). UPC estimates 8500 lateral feet. Return by similar route against the modest current. Workout time ~1.5 hours. ~3 miles. NMS: solid chatter, great conditions, super sunset, and the PAX choice of ice cold malted adult beverages. This was living correctly. Thank you, gentlemen, for talking YHC…
