“But he’ll remember with advantages What feats he did that day. Then shall our names, Familiar in his mouth as household words,… …Be in their flowing cups freshly remembered. This story shall the good man teach his son,…”   — Shakespeare, Henry V July needs a Puppy Pile, and Puppy Pile needs a Q.  Teach your son (or daughter, or sons, or daughters, or sons and daughters…). I’ll be out of town for a couple of weeks.  Need a H.I.M. to step up.  Who shall pick up the Gauntlet and lead?  (He’ll also need to pick a date and talk it…

Pax, There will be a 60 minute July 4th convergence at Tredegar/Brown’s Island/Belle Isle on Wednesday, July 4th at 7am.  It will be very similar to the Memorial Day beatdown, but there are a lot of untapped resources around that AO where we can try new things out.  YHC will start us off and then it will be Hot Potato, so think of something different to do from Memorial Day if you get called upon.  This also gives those Pax members that could not make the Memorial Day beatdown a chance to post at this great AO.  This will be…

YHC is acting as proxy for Mr. Roper, who still – for reasons unknown – has not deciphered how to gain access to create a post on F3RVA.org… All – come join us on Wednesday at 6:00 to partake in fermented barley, hops, and yeast and send off some of our F3 brothers to new lands where YHC is certain they will spread the blessing of F3 to everyone they run into. We will be celebrating the impact of Flashdance and Fudd (if he is available) on the F3RVA group, and reminiscing over frothy mugs of brew! Wednesday June 13th…

Field Day At the June 16th DogPile for YHC’s DogPile VQ we are having a full blown field day – F3 Style. As part of the lead up, I’m asking each of you who plan to participate to wear a t-shirt that best represents your elementary school years. The t-shirt can either be from your school, for you life long RVA types, or can highlight the era. Scower local thrift stores or ebay for your wears. There is a loose $5 limit. Don’t go nuts on cost. You can also make your own t-shirts. For those of us who attended…

Disclaimer:  Welcome to the F3RVA Century Classic.  This is a peer led workout.  None of us are certified instructors.  The details below will allow the opportunity for you to push yourself but please do not hurt yourself.  Much of this CSAUP will be executed overnight and on roads with varying traffic.  It is up to you to take the proper precautions for reflective gear and visibility accessories.  They are highly recommended and potentially required for participating in this CSAUP. Having said that… announcing… the F3RVA Century Classic.  Many of you have heard the rumors about this spring’s CSAUP.  Well, here are…

These are the participants I have: Wedding Singer Oyster EF Hutton Lab Rat Shakedown Anybody else? Anybody looking to carpool?  I am coming from Mechanicsville.  If you can convince me it’s on the way, I’ll pick you up.  Anybody bringing food?  Since it looks like a smaller group, I doubt a full blown camp site is in order, but if folks will hang out we can do something.
