The SOJ crew has decided plant a HDHH on this side of the river to see if anyone is willing to cross it to join us for a drink or two. Late notice but I think word has leaked out over the past few weeks. Brothers – DTH will be Q’ing a Most Merkins Challenge at the Forge next week (11/21/19). The number to beat is 859, so shooting for 900 in 45 minutes. Yes, it will be difficult. Yes, CSAUP is what we do. Join us if you want to add to your November Merkin Challenge numbers…or if you crave Venison Steak…which will be rewarded to those men who complete this Challenge with DTH. [NOTE: There will be an alternative Q leading a standard Forge beatdown for those unable to join the madness]

Gentlemen, this is your one month heads up to be ready for Magnum P.I. Day on 12/7/19 at Dogpile. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $4,050.00 for Raise Coffee Co. Gumbo and I have commenced with the ‘stache growing, and invite each of you to join us. For those of you who need more than a month to water and grow in a solid caterpillar, do the best you can. Like last year’s Magnum P.I. Day, we want as many F3RVA’ers to join us sporting ‘staches and Hawaiian shirts. If you can’t work a ‘stache all month, grow in a…

What can be said about a group of brothers that wasn’t said last night around the ole camp fire?! The brotherhood we share was in full force this weekend at the Inaugural 1st Inaugural Retreat in Amelia. After Dogpile, we headed out to Amelia to begin the festivities. Wiffle ball, Birdie Ball, Frisbee, Lassoing, and an organized Corn Hole tournament were among the many field games available. Food and beverages were a plenty, and awaited all on arrival. But before the games commenced, a service project ensued. Our gracious host Charlie, AKA Woodstock (FNG), needed some azaleas pulled and a…

The NFL season is upon us, and that means it’s time to put your football knowledge to the test. I’ve been running an NFL Survivor Pool for 15+ years, and I’d like to invite you to join.  For those of you who have played in my league before but didn’t play last year, I’m changing the league to allow for double elimination: a guarantee that you can’t crash out in Week 1!  This change has meant that I’m now hosting the league on a new website. This is NOT Fantasy Football…it’s much easier: pick 1 team to win each week.…
