Under a nearly full moon, a strong seven posted for The Punisher, including three 2.0s impressively disregarding the promise of relaxing into this week’s Spring Break. We completed a short mosey and formed a circle in the tall grass near the A.P. Hill monument and completed 25 SSHs, 25 Don Quixotes, 25 Imperial Walkers, and 15 Arm Circles (forward and back, big and small) followed by a Ring of Fire-style round robin count to 60 while in Elbow Plank position. Fudd and four others posted for a workout that was not as difficult as the beatings Fudd gives to himself.  Here’s how it went down: Mosey to South wall of school for warmup COP:  merkins, squats, ssh, hillbillies, some other stuff Brief mosey to the South wall for leg day:  Complete 20 (that’s 40 total) alt lunges, followed by 30 sec wall sit.  Repeat w/ 18 (that’s 36.., the counting gets important later) alt lunges and 30 sec wall sits.  Continue down to 2.  Then go back and repeat with the odds, 19 alt lunges and 30 sec wall sits……

Nine Redwoods posted at Linwood Holton ES on a drizzly, but very comfortable, Monday morning. Johnsonville (YHC), with substantial effort, planted his SF in the rock-hard clay. After brief chatting about some exciting NCAAB games, the gloom commenced. The week started with a PAX of six posting for The Punisher. The Thang:  Mosey to the Hermitage Road side of the schoolyard for the warm-up COP with 30 x Imaginary Jumpropes, 25 x Hillbillies, 20 x Don Quixotes, 10 x Leg Kicks (each side), and 15 x Arm Circles (small then large, forward then reverse). Jog to the blacktop.  Elbow Plank in the grass at the edge in a line.  First PAX member completes 50% sprint to the other end of the blacktop, calls out “go” to the next guy in line, then jogs back and assumes Straight Arm…

7 enthusiastic souls posted on a somewhat brisk day at the Punisher.  Here’s what went down: COP: 25 SSH; 15 Don Quixotes (these were supposed to be Saab style – my fault for going too fast); arm circles -10 small, 5 big, reverso, 15 American hammers; 20 APDs and 35 LBCs. Mosey to the basketball court for 3 rounds of suicide doublers.  Reps of 1-2-4-8-16 while running suicides with the following exercises: burpees, jump squats and merkins. An unsuspecting crew of 6 posted for some slightly different exercises at The Punisher.  Here’s how it went down: Mosey to basketball court for standard issue warmup COP. First evolution = 10 yd escalator run.  PAX completes an EMOM of escalating 10 yd shuttle runs.  Min 1 = 1 10 yd run, min 2 = 2 10 yd runs, …. up to 17 before we couldn’t finish within the minute 2nd Evolution= ground and pound for time: 4, 30 sec sets of merkins (30 sec rest between sets), repeato for bench hops and squats 20 sec sets of core exercises…

A Pax of 8 including one 2.0 FNG showed up for a President’s Day workout. Six Punisher regulars escaped the post-grammy fartsack for a Splinter led beatdown.  Avoiding the brisk breeze we ran towards the back of the school for COP.  The following is more or less what transpired: COP – SSH x25 – Hellicopter x15 – Copperhead Squat x15 – LBC x15 The Thang Mosey to our favorite Monday morning bus loop for curb crawls.  Bear crawl across, crawl bear back.  Up to 7, repeat 7 and back down to 1.  Various Al Gore positions for the PAX members whom finished early. Super Bowl chicken wings and fermented beverages were no match for five fellows posting for The Punisher.  After brief greetings at the ShovelFlag we went at it like so: COP in school sideyard with 15 x Side Straddle Hops, 10 x Imperial Walkers, 10 x Don Quixotes, and Arm Circles with 10 small and 5 big both forwards and reverse.
