2020 F3RVA Murph Challenge

For those of you who are not familiar with the “Murph”, it is a workout named after Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. He originally named the workout “Body Armor”. The workout consists of an initial 1 mile run, followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 merkins, and 300 air squats completed in any intervals, then capped with another 1 mile run. This weekend I watched the new Netflix-produced film Extraction, starring Chris Hemsworth. It has gotten a lot of good press, and I’m always up for a great action movie.
