15 strong came out to endure some early summer heat and exercise. Short route – negative splits. East on Grove, north on Arthur Ashe, east on Monument. Turn at 23 minutes, back in 22. Long route – heard a couple different versions, TYA didn’t want to think so he went east and came back west. Swirly and BT ran the long Carillon route YHC believes. Gears – somewhere and return. Today’s route was designed to obtain some peaceful reflection on the events of the past week or two while visiting a few of the sites the way F3 does it,…

12 runners braved the heat and beat the pavement. Serpentine route: Everyone – Right on Grove, left on Hamilton, left on Hanover, run to the road ends (D street maybe). Take a right and next right on Stuart, run until it deadends at Hamilton. Take a left on Hamilton and left on Kensington. 4s – turn left back up Commonwealth to the school. 5s – take Kensington until it deadends again, turn right up and run up the little alleyway until it turns to Leonard (?) and right on Commonwealth back to the school. Long run Pax- TBD. Felt like…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeWg73GzVbc 11 posted for a wet one. Long distance runners – Patterson route. Short distance – Commonwealth to Monument, head east on Monument. Take a right up to Grove depending on your chosen distance, return Grove to Commonwealth. Great job men, nice warm wet morning for a run. Thanks to Pucker for keeping YHC’s speed up. Welcome Swipe Right, or as us more cynical folks call Stalker. TYA took us out with an inspiring adage that we are privileged to do what we do, and not merely forced to or have to. That led us to a discussion on Yankee…

A lucky 13 gathered today at various times for various distances. Good times were had by all with perfect weather, an early sunrise, and a full moon. The 530 crew ran with reverse Carillon routes. There was quite an extensive early AM crew with Bleeder being first on the AO today. As it is Nurses Week, Flatline took us out. Announcements: Reach out to a nurse this week and thank them.Memorial Day Murph coming up to get those arms ready for the summer.Big talks of a CSAUP replacement for BRR that may be in the works. Time to Taper, Lockjaw

1 Monster and seventeen other dudes posted on the perfect morning for a run. Weather was 70 and sunny. Route was west on Grove to 3Chopt, put a foot on 3chopt, run back to MM to the bus circle. Thugs ran the whole shabang and crushed it. Most of the supporters did 5k the hardway (25 merkins and 25 squats every 1/2 mile). Congrats to THUGGZZZZZZ for dedicating himself to something and getting after it. In that light, he announced post run that he would do a 10K at the beginning of August. The first annual Bone Thug 10k is…

Dissimilar to the title of this workout, the path was anything but an inner, creative battle. Did we win though? Yes, obviously. A group of 10 PAX plus one additional PAX member ran the ways of our fathers. See Marv’s backblast from a few months back for details, remain on Grove at all costs. Never saw the Gears folks again so hope they’re okay. Good job men. Also, Bleeder has goats. -Singer

Low 70s greeted a hearty group of runners and bikers on this ever peculiar Friday morning RAMM. It was good to see some familiar faces and have at least 45 minutes of normality these days. As always, I’m appreciative of this group, their humor, their encouragement and their inspiration. The Thang… Admittedly, the newly renovated Bat Cave starting at UofR and going to Huguenot Road has got me all fired up. The blacktop is a sensational running surface and the trail is wide and brand new. And, as it turns out, if you go west on Grove, right at Three…

A coincidental 13 gathered on Friday the 13th and shunned the European measuring system in favor of imperial measuring units. Surprisingly, no mileage was called today, just pattern based instructions. The goal was somewhat concentric squares. Here’s how it went down: The Route- Use north on westmoreland and west on Grove as fixed axis- Go north 1 block then turn right- Turn right after 1 block then right on Grove- Right on westmoreland and proceed 2 blocks north then take a right- Right after two blocks then back on grove- Continue increasing by a block in each direction until time…

A solid double dozen men showed up on a just warm enough to wear gloves but not cold enough to wear long pants morning for a run around the southside of Cary Street. The Thang… Everyone: East across Commonwealth to Willetta which winds east to Kingscrest (one of the two “crests” that were run today). Kingscrest deadheads into Malvern. Go South on Malvern, across Cary into the wonderful Windsor Farm community. From there, you are on Canterbury and you bear to the left on Canterbury to start running towards the back of the community. In the early 1960s, the Canterbury…
