39 studs posted for a morning of accomplishment and celebration. Most on foot, some on wheels. Running route was the old school route 10k, nice and simple. Ok boys, it is time for the BoneThugs 10k. It is this Friday. Here is the plan: The Route – Old School. Leave Mary Munford parking lot and go east on Grove. Follow grove to Arthur Ashe Boulevard (The Boulevard) and turn around and head west. Take Grove til it ends at Three Chopt. Turn around and head back to Mary Munford. This Timing. Fourteen stallions posted to RAMM to start the weekend right. Here’s how it went, more or less: 05:15 start for the BT10KTT, east on Grove for a 5 mi +/- route. 4 milers: south to Cary, right to First Pres and Lock Lane left into Westmoreland Place to Charmain — down Charmian Hill to the Hillcrest Loop past Chez TYA, take the long way/extra loop back up to Charmian then out to Lock Lane to Grove to Westmoreland and BTTF. 5 and 6 milers – prescribed routes had extra mileage at the end (down Bunting to Patterson and BTTF) and…

Head north on Commonwealth to Patterson and head west. Turn north on Libbie and east on Monument. 4s turn on Commonwealth, 5s turn on Hamilton, and 6s on Cleveland with all coming back on Grove. 19 prompt individuals + 1 late arrival showed up for a little running/gearing around Mary. Instructions were given to those that cared, everyone else did what they wanted to do. Fartleks were the call of the day. 15 minute warm up, 10 1-minute pickups with a 30 minute recovery, 15 minute cool down. Route was east on Grove, north on Malvern, east on Laburnum. Turn around after the 5th interval and reverse course. Difficulty counting numbers, Difficulty remembering ages, then YHC took us out. Quiet morning for a run. The crowd came in right on time and off we went to Snake River. 4s to the fork, 5s did both tongues, 6s did both tongues twice – all returning on Patterson. YHC look us out.

18 strong arrived and departed RAMM for their desired morning exercise. Long & Short run – all head East on Grove. Four milers cut thru Carytown past City Stadium and back thru to Windsor Farms MM. Five milers all the way down Boulevard to the Carillon and back thru Windsor Farms. Not sure where six milers got the extra mile. Cyclists – everywhere for 45 minutes.
