16 or so early morning risers arose. Short run: Monument to Grove rectangle. 4s turn at Arthur Ashe, 5s around Allison, 6s were absent. Long: Top Golf route Bikes: out and around. Felt like a good morning to take in the Monument Christmas lights, so off the four of us went. Great job everyone. YHC had a good conversation with Pucker, where I learned a new acronym today – R.U.D. (rapid unscheduled disassembly). The context was the Space X test run this week which appeared to go well other than an RUD ending. Bodos’ version of a rectangle has more…

14 arose and conquered. Short run – snake tongue route. Left on Grove, left on Granite, across Cary down Kennondale. 4s return the way you came. 5s do Tempsford and return home. No 6s. Oyster ran the Oyster route. Long run did the reverse Carillon. Great job men. Only a few of us on the short run today but it was a good morning to be out nonetheless. Hard pressed to find a longer hill than Kennondale from RAMM, perhaps YHC shouldn’t announce such a challenge. Thanks to Shiplap for keeping our average age down.

16 boys came to the yard at recess and went their own ways. Choices – ride a bike, run a long ways, or run a shorter than long ways (reverse Carillon). Pullout’s pullout game is still strong. Good job men. Stay safe, prayers to Kubota on a swift recovery, and hope he didn’t get everyone sick at Saab’s birthday outing. We can all blame Saab right? -Singer

A double dozen came out on a beautiful morning at Ms. Mary Munford’s Elementary School for a Friday the 13th edition of RAMM. After a few were lost last week on the Windsor Farms route, we wanted to try it again, with a bit more specific directions. YHC did realize something during the jaunt that most likely is happening on this particular run. Three or four years ago we would run Hillcrest with regularity…it even became (and still is?) a Wednesday afternoon Q. Of course, we’ve had a plethora of guys join us since those runs, and they may (MAY!)…

On a picture perfect November morning, 25 dudes met up for what turned out to be a complicated route south of Cary Street. This isn’t the first, or even the fourth time that we’ve took a stab at the vaunted “Windsor Farms to Hillcrest” jaunt…and, much like the first few times, I’m not sure anyone completed it as it was planned out. Either way…here’s the ideal way to run this route… Head east on Wilmetta which more or less turns into Kingscrest. Up the hill on Kingscrest until it dead ends at Malvern. Right (south) on Malvern. Malvern crosses Cary…

A sweet 16 embraced cooler temperatures and a soggy road to pre-emptively burn off some Halloween calories. Off we went north on Commonwealth turning right on Broad. Left on Roseneath. 4s turned around a Veil and took a scenic run down Roseneath to Grove and back to the flag. 5s and 6s continued on in Scott Addition, turning right on Norfolk and a right on the Blvd. 5s take the Blvd to Grove and home. 6s turn left on Broad and a right on Strawberry to Grove and home. eHarmony took us out.

Bunch of warriors came out and exercised. Early runners with Bone Thugs putting in just shy of 8, late runners getting some reverse Carillon with a twist start error by the Q but all worked out well, and the cyclists did some longs and shorts as well. Great job men! Got to run but getting in big data before I close the computer for the day. Thanks to Bodos for the title.

20 riders and runners spun their way up-and-back on Grove for the First Annual, First Inaugural, First Ever, un-proctored, not-yet-certified, wind-assisted (so unofficial) Yo-Yo Run. Weather was sunny and 70. The clock struck 05:30 and the PAX were on their way. Route: From MM, run west on Grove to Lexington-Albemarle. Take a left (toward Cary) and run the loop around Lexington-Albemarle, returning to Grove. Right onto Grove and return to Mary Munford. Right onto Westmoreland (at the traffic light). Left onto the gravel trail at Mary Munford, except for anyone who has been told to avoid trail runs. PAX ran…

Come one, come all to RAMM tomorrow. If you have a yo-yo holster, bring it. Much yo-yo-ing shall be done. Saab can run on the grass. Run one full loop on the track. Return to Westmoreland and run back to Grove. That’s 1…

17ish PAX departed from Mary for their various sets of exercise. YHC offered up a Lab Rat special – Serpentine. Everyone start east on Grove, north on Hamilton, east on Hanover until it dead ends, right to Stuart, take Stuart all the way back to Hamilton. Left on Hamilton and left on Kensington. 4s – turn left up Bunting and left on Grove home. 5s – Take Kensington until it dead ends. turn right and head back east on the gravel road until you hop onto Leonard. Right on Commonwealth home. 6s – Take Kensington all the way back to…
