Six dudes posted on a Sunday morning for a run around the trails. Northbank to buttermilk was the route. IT Was Hot, We went for a Swim, it was type four fun. Not fun while you are doing it and not fun afterwards. TYA Out

9 Davillians and a Shakedown showed up for trail day! Most were looking for a shorter route for various reasons this morning, so we opted for an out and back to Reedy Creek with optional Lariats. Phonics was lamenting about days gone by swimming in the river, so we did that, too. Tomato run looks to be crowded tomorrow! Welcome to FNG’s Shank (as in the prison type) and G. Love! Rumor has it that TYA, Flipper and Lug got in 10 early miles, and a possible Whistle Blower siting. I’ll let them write their own bb, though.

On a perfect morning, ten strong broke loose from the fart sack and made it to the trails. Northbank to buttermilk and back for most. Lab Rat and BT had an early departure time so did the northbank and back. Lug got lost (not sure how) and hit a little bit of the forest hill loop. NMM Flipper is on a roll. I didn’t witness this myself, but Flipper claims he was leading the group through the run this morning. I honestly wouldn’t doubt it, he, Lug, and Vinny have been putting the work in lately and crushing some miles.…

Eleven strong posted for the latest edition of Sunday Funday, Father’s Day style! Nickel Bridge to Buttermilk to T-Pott to North Bank to Pumphouse Parking Lot. Numberama, Namearama, Announcements and YHC took us out! Announcements: Roller Coaster/HDHH this Wednesday the 19th at Palani Drive rear parking lot. 6pm launch for run. 6:45pm for refreshments. Independence Day Convergence. July 4th at Tredegar. 7am. Summer Tour Shakedown shaving head. Needs $74.00 NMS: YHC’s M asked him a couple weeks ago what he wanted to do for Father’s Day. Answer was Q the Sunday Trail Run for starters. YHC really never was in…

YHC and Bootleg pulled into the Pump House parking lot at 7:02 with nary a disappearing pax member in sight. We assumed the crowd had already made off into the woods; however, since no one has posted a backblast for Sunday Funday, it appears that we were the pax. Turning around at downtown, YHC put in 8 miles. Bootleg was aiming for a personal half-marathon.

6 studs posted on a nice spring morning in Richmond. Route was northbank to T potters field to buttermilk and home just under 6 miles , j. Saab hit the roads. NMM The parking lot was packed when I arrived at 645. Rare for a Sunday morning. Often in the winter we are the only folks in the parking lot. Ollivander put in an extra half hour pre-workout. The trails were looking for payback today. Faceplant almost took a faceplant today about a mile into the run. He stumble for a few yards then caught himself. YHC was happily making…

7 men and one woman awoke from the Fartsack to tackle the trails in today’s version of Sunday Funday. Temps were sunny and 70. TYA-san called the route…Buttermilk to T. Pottersfield to North Bank. Saab ran in the neighborhoods to stay on solid ground. Totals were in the 7 mile range for trail runners, 9+ for the road runner (10?). Number-am-a, Name-a-ram-a, YHC took us out. NMS: TYA is a wise sensei. Today was a battle less with the trails and more with the elements. Six of seven runners hit the trails. At the start or shortly thereafter, 5 of…

Five bandits hopped on the race course sans registration to see what Dominion had in store for the River Rock Half Marathon. All started and finished at Pump House. The routes in between varied, unintentionally. No one took us out (I wasn’t the Q until just now, so I blame TYA). NMS: Hot and humid this morning. The 8:00 start for River Rock was way too late. We made it most of the way through the course before we ran into the leaders. Along the way Lab Rat tried to convince a black snake to get off the trail. Ultimately,…

Four stepped up for four on the Service Road and one hit the roads for today’s edition of Sunday Funday. Temps were sunny and 70 with 150% humidity and rain, according to Saab’s free app, scheduled for later. Number-am-a, Name-a-ram-a, Hutton took us out. NMS: Good run boys. Lots of chatter today about BRR, Field Day, summer heat, train crossings, and donkeys. You can ask, but YHC advises against it.

With apologies to Grantland Rice and Thanos…Outlined against a sunny and 70, blue April sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore their names are Death, Destruction, Pestilence, and Famine. But those are aliases. Their real names are: Lola, Offshore, UpChuck, and E.F. Hutton (and Sally). They formed the crest of the North Bank cyclone before which another Sunday Funday came together… the sportswriters of the former New York Herald Tribune filed the following story: Route today was across the bridge, Buttermilk, skip the lariot, two leaps across Reedy Creek, and we crossed at the T. Pottersfield Bridge while…
