1 lone PAX (YHC) made an 1 hour 15 minute trip to Buckingham (Charlottesville Area) to make a GP appearance and just visit a new AO. COP: SSH’s, DQ’s, 3rd Graders (Cherry Pickers), Imperial Walkers and Merkins No mosey: 21’s PAX does SSH’s in cadence while Q counts to 6 and then stops. PAX is supposed to count in their head to 21 and stop. If not in sink PAX does predetermined exercise, PAX never did get in sink. Don’t remember all the exercises but there where many Burpees, Merkins and Ball Dippers Again No mosey: 6 minutes of Mary…

One PAX awoke with the dawn and set the tone: wet, stinky, and sweaty. Temps were 70 and sunny, with a touch of Columbia River windy. According to Harry, a trained killer mutt with 4 inch legs, the following might have happened: Mosey to the patio for The COP: Imperial WalkersSide Straddle HopsHillbilliesSwirly’s Dead Man HangMercansWWIIsReverse Crunches Mosey to the 7th Hole (green) of the Frisbee Golf Course for a Beast: Mercansbox cuttersWWIIs4-count flutter kicksHello Dolly (Harry joined YHC for this round)burpees Al Gore between each round for The Six. YHC has spent a glorious 5 days with the M + 2.0’s + brother John (AKA “Flint”) on Mount Desert Island (Maine), enjoying all that Acadia has to offer. Among many hiking/boating/swimming/fishing adventures, today’s rigorous climb to the summit of St Sauveur Mtn (679’), carrying one or both 2.0 “coupons” was quite the workout worthy of a backblast. The frequent near-vertical rock scrambles made the going a bit hairy, but YHC had the occasional breather picking blueberries along the way, and the views of Somes Sound were breathtaking. The descent was killer on the quads, and we were all exhausted…

One PAX took to the mean (deserted) streets of Plantation to indulge in the latest edition of The Shopping Trip. Temps were sunny and 70. According to the construction worker attempting to nap on his truck bed (this is Florida, so easily the least weird thing that YHC has seen), this is more or less what happened: Route: hotel to DHL building, across Peters to office park to La Quinta to Westfield Mall. Reverso at Broward Blvd. 4.1 miles. Not bad for YHCs second rehab run. Number, name, YHC talked to himself. Quick Coffeeteria, minus the coffee, with Omar, the…

It was an epic trip to F3 Indianapolis where YHC and Posey found nothing but true F3 hospitality from the downrange AO’s that we were able to get to. YHC made it to 3 local AO’s and Posey made it to 2. Our tour guides where Kindergarten Cop on Tuesday, Wrigley on Wednesday and Motor Boat on Thursday. We saw this car near Pittsburgh but where unable to find out the true identity of the driver as he went right when we went left.

One PAX returned to the pre-COVID AO for the most recent edition of The Shopping Trip (not to be confused with The Field, which is a beat down). Conditions were sunny and 70 (with a side order of humidity). According to the series of business park Security Guards, this was the route: north on Pine Island, east to 8150, then through 8151, past the LaQuinta (no police / obvious arrests today), left on SW 10th, left on SW 78th, left on Federated to Broward. Reverso and BTTVSF. Name, number, YHC took us out with a quick RIP for Omar’s (see…

YHC had a pupcation for this summers break. Unfortunately the beach house that was reserved the year before ended up not allowing pets. So the M and 2.0 headed down to join the rest of the family and YHC stayed back with Daisy our new puppy … Then YHC get’s a call hey there is a campground close by y’all could come visit for a day or two… On the way baby !! Daisy and I rolled down – she’s is an awesome traveler by the way ! We arrive and there are rules for pets on the dang beach..…

YHC visited Manhattan last month to celebrate his 21 Wedding anniversary with his M who used to live in the upper East Side. Wanting to get an easy 4 mile run in before returning to Richmond and before it was getting hot (was a cool non humid 70 degrees at 6:15am) found that I was running a sub 8 minute average pace for the entire run. If anyone has been to Central Park, there are some hills and it is a BIG park as my route was about 1/2 of the park north and south(about 2 miles (30 street blocks(59th…

One PAX launched while on holiday. It was 70 and sunny. YHC works out here a few times a year. The AO still needs a name. See above and below. COP: Two loops of the park, SSHs, DQs, dead man hang, LBCs, flutter kicks. Mosey around the park to the picnic tables. Derkins on one bench, snow angels on top, incline mercans on the other bench. Four tables means four rounds. 10 the first round, 15, then 20, then 15. Run the park loop after each round. Elevens: HRMs and Rosalitas. Polar bear one way. Run the other. Run the…
