7 Davillians came out for a our Sunday Funday in the Ville. Only place fitted for this sort of group run was Green Acres (Pole Green Park) the home of DaVille’s former Thursday morning workout. 7 am start time we heading into the park, through the cross country course, through the trails, saw a dead cooperhead, and back up to the ES parking to get somewhere between 6.25 to 6.5 miles Glad to have Scully back out with us! A whopping 2 PAX presented themselves at Pole Green Elementary to knock out 110 burpees and a little bit o mary…this is what transpired… COP:  DQ’s, Arm Circles (both directions), WWII’s, Imperial Walkers…each preceded by 5 burpees Two-Fer (was going to be a Triple-Check):  Perform x Donkey Kicks, bear crawl 10 yards, perform x Merkins, then run 100 yards, perform 5 burpees…return and repeato.  x = 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. Jacob’s Ladder (Double-shot):  Run across two b-ball courts.  Perform burpee half way, then at end of other court, return and continue cycle.  Burpees start at 1 and end at 7…

Two brave men journeyed into a dark 200 acre park for a 45 minute beatdown.  It went something like this: Mosey into the park for about a 2 mile run along the road and trails. 2 F3RVA men went in the gloom that is Green Acres and this is what transpired: Mosey to Playground for 11s.  10 pullups and run to swings where you put your feet in swing for 1 decline merkin.  Back to pullups for 9 and and 2 decline merkins.  Repeato until 10 merkins and 1 pullups. One lonely Davillian show up in the gloom. At 5:30 YHC headed to the bus loop and mosey around several times. Ahhh, there are some lights…nevermind, its just a hanover county deputy turning around in the parking lot. At 5:33 no one was to be found so YHC headed out for a run. THANG After 4 miles and be nearly run off the road by a Cintas truck, YHC return to the SF for 10 MOM. 4 Warriors came out for a little change of pace at Green Acres. The SF was planted around 5:26, Phonic pulled up at 5:29, then the PAX headed out for a little run. THANG 10 minutes of warm up pace then start interval running for 30 minutes. Complete 3 minutes at around 5k pace (7:30/mile average pace), then 2 minutes at slow down pace (9:30/mile average pace). Rinse and Repeat. Halfway through hit the trails/hills. Wrap up with 3 laps around the bus loop at 50%, 75%, and finally 100% pace. Total miles: 4.75 (Phonic was over 5 miles) MOLESKIN…
