10 RVA Runners got in there miles before and after Dogpile. YHC changes things up a bit by giving the PAX a pervious of what was come that day. We traveled our normal route down carytown to the boulevard. When we arrived at boat lake dr we turned onto westover dr and kept going till we reach Maymont and shirley lane The mumble chatter on the way back center around what make a doughnut a doughnut. Some argued that a doughnut requires a whole in the center meaning “doughnuts” like Long John’s and Boston Cream are just simply cakes YHC…

13 strong hit the streets for the Pre-Field Day Breakfast Club run. Several flags flying including the VMI flag (Ra VA Mil!) 2 miles there/1.5 miles back. Some thought Swirly’s truck had been stolen and an imposter was driving it. Highlights of the run were the gentleman on the sidewalk yelling “Only 15 more miles to go!” and the family eating breakfast at Can Can watching us from the front window run back to ET’s looking like we had just played in wet, red clay. Nice run and time fellas! SYITG! Kubota

7 circled the wagons for Breakfast Club. Temps were sunny and 70. Route was ET’s down Cary to Robinson, through the park to the Police Memorial, and past the campers into Dogpile. Reverse route (for YHC and Kubota) was Park through Carytown, then left on Ellwood (Main), and onto ET’s. 2 miles down, 2 miles back. NMS: YHC rose early today in order to start a trifecta of posts. Pulling into Dogpile, a figure arose through The Gloom…”Is that Kubota?” Yep…already running through the park. Kubota, headed to an early workday, was kind enough to wait while YHC parked, stretched,…

11 strong hits the streets of Carytown in order to make their way to Dogpile and made their way back in order to earn breakfast. 2 miles out and 1.5 miles in. Kind of chilly this morning which equals great running weather. YHC took us out. Helix was feeling it this morning! Led the way there. Totally destroyed Dogpile and led the way back. Saab told us about a new show “I’m Sorry.” Interesting sounding show to say the least. Nice showing from all nano-regions this morning. SYITG! Kubota

10 joined us for an all natural breakfast club run on 4/20. Phonics found us on the run. YHC took us out. Breakfast Club quote of today: Andrew: Yo wastoid, you’re not gonna blaze up in here. Nice run gents!

8 swamp rats shucked off the dry, warm Fartsack in favor of an a full-on deluge. So much for Weather.com. We’ll call it sunny and 70 above the cloud line. Weather.com sent YHC an alert at 5:09 that a shower would start at 5:21. The rain would be light (or, because it’s 2019, lite). Here’s how the worms crawling on the asphalt tell the story: 5:25 emerge from cars Rain 5:28 Three Early Risers emerge from The Gloom. 5:29 TYA appeared. Then, he left to run elsewhere. 5:30 Let’s mosey. Flag left warm and dry in the car. 5:31 Rain…

14 stallions gathered in The Gloom for today’s rendition of The Breakfast Club. Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez, and Ally Sheedy all opted for the Fart Sack even though temps were sunny and 70. Their loss. Old Glory flew proudly down Cary to Robinson to the park to the Police Memorial, then left on Park until the Shovel Flag was planted. More or less reverso on the way back with a slightly shorter route of Park to Shepard to Cary to S. Thompson and ET’s. Call it 4+ miles. Number-am-a, name-a-ram-a, YHC took us out. Let’s…

Fifteen of RVAs finest shook off the fartsack from a late night of watching basketball and came out for some fun and a few miles pre and post workout. We were met with a few questionable looks on the way to Dogpile and one irate car traveling at a high velocity, but Carytown was somewhat dormant at the time. The lap around the lake was nice. Coming home we had the early morning crowd giving a few salutes as the Flag made its way back to ET. Announcements See preblast for this Wednesday’s HDHH at Palani Drive following the Roller…

At least 27 strong arrived at Elwood Thompson’s parking lot for a different kind of beatdown. Some arrived at 0530, some at 0600 and some at 0630.
