Three/fourths of the Breakfast Club regulars met. The run over was great. The run back was less than great because were exhausted. it was nice to have Sippy Cup join us for part of the run.

YHC signed up for the Breakfast Club Run this morning to ensure a post to a Dogpile beatdown from Tryhard. So Hash, Doublemint and Shiplap came to this breakfast and we started to go on our route. About at the bridge Doublemint barked I will catch up and we kept running for a bit, then turned around to pick up Doublemint. As YHC lay in bed at 0430 awake and running through all the reasons to go back to sleep he remembered a quote from the great Tombstone character Doc Holliday, “nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.” So up and at em, 2 miles there, 1 mile back, and a porta-potty just where it needed to be for a quick mid-run detox. Haters will say it’s fake.

YHC was pumped to host the Pre-run and with last night’s cold soaker expected 1-2 to possibly join for a nice mosey to the Dogpile Monthly Convergence AO from Early Bird Biscuit Company. Roll up to see Upchuck and Double Mint stretching…nice no solo run today and then Hitchhiker rolls in with Handshake following and what?…Hardywood rolls in for this pre-bootcamp mosey! So we are ready to roll and run straight on S Robinson street across bridge and take a right to run around boat lake and stay on Boat lake drive until Westover then to Swan lake drive around…
