Men traveled from far and wide to experience the magic of an EFH pre and post DogPile Q. None left disappointed. A raucous 3 mile round trip jaunt through the mean streets of Maymont and surrounding neighborhoods. No man left behind, well almost.

Having been abandoned by all the Breakfast Club regulars, a lone man ran from Early Bird Biscuit to Dogpile in the 20 degree dark. Great mumble chatter, some interesting conversation about Milton Friedman and his take on Keyesian economics, but Hardywood was not there to argue with. Next time.

Three early bird PAXs gathered around the Early Bird Biscuit Co. and started running toward Dogpile. The route is the usual. Starting with Robinson street to the park, and took left, right around the lakes and ran up to Dogpile. Return route. YHC was a bit struggling with carrying the portable speaker and karaoke mic. Numbers, Names, YHC took us out.

5 men arose earlier than necessary in order to better themselves, enjoy some 2nd F, and procure a tasty biscuit. According to the the other runners, this is how it went down. Run to Dogpile. With much input from the PAX who know the area better than YHC. Ran around the lakes/ponds. Only took 17 minutes so we did a loop around the circle. Post-beat down, we ran back in a more direct route to the biscuit shop. Numbers. Names. Hutton took us out. NMM A blessing to spend time with you fine gentlemen. Take care of yourself. You cannot…

THANG YHC was able to rise early for this TG Holiday Saturday pre-run for the Mr. Rogers upcoming beatdown. With some earlier recon this week, Early Bird Biscuit was closed so we launched from ET’s. Handshake was posted in the parking lot and we launched down Cary Street through Carytown. We take a right on S. Robinson Street and ran south of Boat Lake to Shirley Lane into the AO for Dogpile. For the trip back, we run on S. Sheppard Street and a left on Cary Street to ET’s Parking lot. COT Numberama and Namerama Handshake took us out…

Three braved the first sub 30 morning of Fall to get in miles before and after the big show. Hitch hit a few hip hop steps along the way. Zesty queso bacon biscuits were top notch.

Three gloom brothers ran the miles to earn their wokest of biscuits. One gloom bro skipped the miles and went straight to the payoff. Handshake pondered the EB staff’s reactions if he showed up in a Bush Quayle ’88 t-shirt with concealed carry. Jokes on him, the staff has no idea who they are.

The four most regular BC Pax put in some extra credit. Route was Early Bird to DogPile and back, 3 miles and some change. Discussion on the return trip focused on the extensive new fencing around the Vita course. UpChuck always be EH’in. Look for Joe in the weeks to come. YHC thinks Big Pun might make a solid nickname.
