YHC arrived to see Opus in lot and one additional car parked that was for and early riser likely on a Ruck walk. Two more roll in to make four for a nice morning run on a cool sunny and 70 gloomy morning. We gather up to get ready for a 4 mile route and go through a few Rutland area subdivisions. With the cooler weather we ran a faster pace. See route below: We return back and Boo Boo was back from his 4.5 mile Ruck walk. Numberama / Namerama Opus took us out in prayer. Announcements We will…

Almost sunny and 70 this morning as three faithful runners showed up to take on the day the right way. 1 mile moderate jog 3 — .6 mile loops trying to up our interval pace around a mile jog at the end to cool downGood time had by all — no ruckers this morning. afraid of the rain? opus

Four runners, with one four-legged friend, and two ruckers, with another four-legged friend, launched from the Rutland Clubhouse on a perfect fall morning. This is what went down. There wasn’t even a bit of wind to blow. Job number one was to plan a route. YHC suggested a loop through Giles and Craney Island would fit the Bill for about a four-mile route. YHC’s guess was close, but no cigar. The runners covered about 4.5 miles by adding in a modified Bojangles loop. YHC visually confirmed rucking happened as well, but did not confirm the distance covered. It was fun…

Four runner, three with two legs and one with four, traversed the dark, wide streets of Rutland, Cool Springs Forest, and Cool Springs Forest West for about 4.25 miles. Because none of us like headlamps we stayed on the streets. The chill in the air reminded us that winter is coming. It was nice to catch up with Handshake again. We free folk don’t see too many brave visitors from south of the wall. I hope he successfully returned to his westeros-end home. Handshake reminded us of the upcoming beer mile. Check slack for details. It sounds very “fun,” but…

A Pax of two Davillians was left to its own devices as the other Davillians travelled further afield. After waiting a couple minutes for an expected Opus arrival, the Pax took off for a run of just over four miles to and from the Honey Meadows traffic circle. We added a loop around the Rutland townhouses on the way back to get close to 45 minutes. A lot of good chatter with Mr. Holland. Mr. Holland took us out.

YHC jogged in just after the scheduled 5:30 a.m. departure to find Opus and Mr. Holland. They had no route in mind, so YHC suggested repeats of approximately 1 km around a relatively well-lit townhouse loop after an easy running warm up. We got 4 repeats in with brief walk breaks to regroup before a brief cool down jog. Opus took us out.

8 Davillians including a FNG and four legged friend got after it for some running and rucking on Thursday morning Route for the running including go a reverse way than normal over to Cool Spring West then running the Rutland loop reverse. Shortly after passing Bulkhead’s house we took the cut through next to the pond to get over to the Bojangles loop. Crossed over Atlee Station and ran the Kroger loop reversed before heading back to the clubhouse. Distance depending on detours by the PAX was between 4 to 4.25 miles Ruckers did they thing with a little later…

Seven ambitious but realistic men posted in Rutland for yet another hot and humid morning run. Three routes were given. All would opt for the shorter distance or even modify that for less distance. The Route Rutland to Giles. Do the back loop into Craney Island. Run down and up the hill. Exit neighborhood onto Atlee Station. Instead of the longer Bojangles loop, run back to AO. Should have been 4.7 miles but with Craney Island mistake, was likely closer to 5. Others probably went 4 miles. COT – Numberarama, Name-O-Rama, Announcements, Hash took us out. NMS Great to have…

Ten of F3RVA’s bravest or most foolish including a rucker and a marathon training teamer broke through the heat and humid this morning to conquer the Virginia Center hill. This is what occurred. The Route No Idea left from Buffalo Wild Wings at 5 AM to ruck solo. He will have to pick up onto the story from there. Eight of us left BWW at 5:30 AM, took a left onto Virginia Center Parkway, crossed over I295, and then noticed around 50 people on Village Views Parkway having what looked like some type of early morning festival. All of them…

Eight runners and ruckers converged in the Rutland clubhouse parking lot with plans to run or ruck while trying to stay cool. With it being 78 degrees at 5:30 AM, the staying cool plan would be a challenge. Three groups took off in various directions. The Ruckers were Yardsale, No Idea, and Jinxy. The Runners were in 3 groups, Opus and Mr. Holland, Speakeasy and YHC, and Corned Beef solo. The runners did the Rutland/Cool Spring Forest/Knollwood loop. The Ruckers walked towards Atlee Road and went in some direction from there. COT: Numberarama, Name-O-Rama, Announcements, YHC took us out NMS…
