3 runners and 2 ruckers explored the less swampy than usual twilight from the Rutland Clubhouse. Runners continued YHC’s exploration of the roads across Chamberlayne after discovering a cut through. This route seemed a bit easier to follow and had no off-leash dogs, making it a clear winner. Runners covered about 4.25 miles. Ruckers did not say how far they rucked. All of the old folks were too busy talking about cleaning out internal plumbing and dispensing medical advice. Announcements included the CSAUP running at Twin Team Saturday, the pickleball tournament, and the century bike ride. In addition, there is…

YHC posted at 5am this morning and was able to get in over 4.2 miles. It was a great time to reflect and appreciate cool weather returning from San Antonio, TX where the high temperatures were over 100 all week. Have a great day and I will see you in the gloom, Cheers…CB!

YHC has been waiting for the chance for a hot potato run. Mr. Holland was good company as we navigated through the soupy air to the back of the new construction in Giles, returning via Craney Island Estates and Atlee Station, for between 4 and 4.5 miles. Two runners at the same pace made the hot potato route pretty simple to navigate, and we made it back to the start with a few minutes to spare. Corned Beef and Yardsale were organized and ready to go on their pre-planned ruck route, which means they made wrong turns, got maybe a bit…

While two Davillians rucked, two others welcomed an SOJ visitor for his next summer tour date. Either the weather or ticket prices rivalling the Eras Tour may have kept more from attending. With out IT bands strung tight and all sound checks completed, we strummed our way through about 4.5 miles. Some of the hits heard by the ladies seen running with Marco Polo were about lotteries, bank examining, and boot camp induced aches and pains. After numbers and names, announcements included encouraging participation at the Bridge, Spit’s 400th Q tomorrow at the Creek, and YHC’s visiting Q at RAMM…
