4 Davillians when out on a stroll this muggy Thursday morning. The route was hopefully the finalized on for our race next month. It ended up being about .15 short Opus took it easy getting in a little over 4 Sludge had to call it early do to nature calling Blukhead had a similar problem but at least he lives in the neighborhood and got in 5 YHC was able to finish the full route

3 guys ran and two took a gentle stroll with their parasols. Kings Charter Route. 4.5ish miles for everyone.Sludge mentioned that running this morning was like running in the shower. We briefly considered jumping in the Honey Meadows pool but figured we were wet enough anyways with sweat we wouldn’t even notice…No Idea and Mudface were there — we saw them early on and then never again. SYITG!

5 Davillians came out to our new temporary Thursday run day and enjoy some cooler weather and 1stF/2ndF time. Route was through Rutland/Cool Spring Forest, the loop around Knollwood including the hill (more on that), over to Cool Spring West trail then back through Rutland and what are calling the Bojangles loop for 5.7 miles (Trout and Opus shorten their run some) Sludge mention there is a challenge on Strava for the Knollwood hill. Mentioned he hasn’t been able to bring 2 minutes and the Top 10. Sludge, Glide, and YHC push hard this time so hopefully we got him…

5 runners and “supposedly” 2 walkers/ruckers arrived to get in their pre Tropical Storm miles Runner – 4 1/2 to 5 mile Route through Giles and Giles Farm, Loop around Craney Island (skip the hill on Ashlar Pl except for Opus). The back on Atlee Station and over the bridge. Run down Atlee to the Bojangles, loop around Rutland to Rutlandshire and Combs Dr back up the bridge and finish with a loop around the Atlee HS parking lot. Walker/Ruckers – Arrival time (no clue), miles (no clue), finish time (no clue). Some photos were posted on FB messenger but…

3 Davillians arrived at our new mid week run location of Rutland clubhouse to get in some miles before the heat. Route – Around Rutland, Cool Spring Forest to the loop in Knollwood over to Cool Spring Forest West. Had to cut it short since Sludge “Had to go” so got in around 4.25 SPIT ON THAT!!

Only 2 came out again, ran through the new neighborhood across the street from the school into Craney Island, over to 301. Then ran back. Hot and humid again this morning but feels good when you get done.

2 Davillians decided to go rogue and have their tomato run on a different day. Meeting at 6, The Carpenter and YHC started at the Honey Meadows clubhouse and did the King Charter/Totopotomoy Loop to get in 5.25 miles Great mumble chatter about recent events and our up coming Colonial SPIT ON THAT!!
