We had 4 +1 run the Rutland 4.75-5.5 mile route today. YHC & OPUS stopped at the stop sign intersection at Atlee Station Road and returned to Rutland house for about 5 miles, Bulkhead and Sludge continued on to the Bojangles turn and returned for 5.5 miles and Carpenter ran by as we were wrapping up and completed his route (approximately 5 miles). Bulkhead also Ran to Rutland house from home and had a return run to home after we circled up for Namerama and Numberama. We had a small group 4 runners and one on a bike(gear) show up for a Labor Day morning run. Trout brought his 2.0 Nutmeg and her bike so she could ride along with us on our run this morning. We ran/biked a 4.5 mile route this morning. It was a cool 57 degree morning and we really enjoyed the cool and calm experience where most people were sleeping in on this holiday morning. 6 Davillian took up the offer from Bulkhead to run on Saturday. Some skipped Dogpile for the even. YHC enjoyed a nice run before a 6+ hour drive downrange for vaca. The route was a modified Rutlant loop with Corned Beef, Trout, and Spit getting in around 5 miles. The rest of the PAX added the Bojangles loop to get in 6. Great morning for a run with temps in the mid 60’s and a nice little breeze. This Daville PAX is ready for their CSAUP in two weeks! SPIT ON THAT!!

7 Daville Stud got out to get in some miles on Thursday. The loop was the 5.5 miler but some got in a little less or a little more SPIT ON THAT!!

6 Davillian Runners enjoy some cooler on the last day August. Route – 10k loop starting at Rutland clubhouse, around the school, through Honey Meadows and the trails, the back up through Atlee Station and the Bojangles loop. Opus left from his house and the PAX up with by the time we made it to Honey Meadows PAX looked strong and ready for the race in a couple of weeks SPIT ON THAT!!

7 Davillians got in their near the end of week training run for the DaVille 35 next month. YHC was finalizing Loop #2 which will be a 5.5 mile loop. Feeling good, YHC push the pace and Sludge join in. The rest of the PAX got behind and miss the turn on the Cool Spring West Trail and ended up with 5.8 mile loop. Great job by everyone, looking forward to this race next month

6 Davillians (5 runners and a walker) got the week started with a practice run for the Daville 35. Routes Mudface looked to be solo today and seem to do the reverse Honey Meadows loop Runners started early from the Rutland clubhouse, came through Atlee to check for any 5:30 runs, then loop around Honey Meadows then back from a 10k Opus showed up a little later and got started at Atlee to get in 4.8 miles Great run for everyone this morning! SPIT ON THAT!!

4 Davillians got in their mid week training run around Rutland this morning. Everyone was feeling a little off so the PAX skip the normal Knollwood loop and got in around 4.3 this morning There was a Spike spotting twice this morning as well SPIT ON THAT!!

With temps below 70 for the first time in months, two davillians came out to start their weekly miles off right. YHC got some extra distance in by starting at Rutland clubhouse. 4 miles for Sludge and 6+ for YHC 1st loop for the upcoming Daville 35 has been finalized SPIT ON THAT Side Note – Mud Face and No Idea were around as well

4 Davillians when out on a stroll this muggy Thursday morning. The route was hopefully the finalized on for our race next month. It ended up being about .15 short Opus took it easy getting in a little over 4 Sludge had to call it early do to nature calling Blukhead had a similar problem but at least he lives in the neighborhood and got in 5 YHC was able to finish the full route
