Mary Munford Elementary

16 of this region’s finest embarked on route through the darkness of Windsor Farms before picking up the remainder of the miles in the grid system of the Mary Mumford area. The 6 route was a little lite and appreciated. YHC took us out.

Route: Below is the 5m Route. 4s head straight back to Mary after exiting Tuckahoe onto Grove 6s do an extra loop around Hillcrest https://onthegomap.com/s/h5slamld Saab abides

11 greats showed up this morning to battle the dropping temps and this is what ensued. YHC missed the days of yore when all the PAX did was run Grove, so Grove it was, this time we did the Oyster Grove. This Oyster Grove variation takes us west on Grove, then a left on to Three Chopt, and an immediate right past CCV and all the way down to the culdesac and back up again. The turn around point is 2 miles so the 6’s added on some extra hills on Tempsford Lane – that was brutal. Everyone met back…

East on Grove and North on Thompson. Park is the eastbound route and Stuart is westbound. Dodge traffic on Thompson as needed.

Ten running redwoods embarked on a fun and likely route. After discussing the various winter gear making its way into the Pax’s rotation, off we went. East on Grove, North on Antrim, West on Monument, South on Willow Lawn, and West on Patterson. 4s take a left on Westview, 5s on Maple, and 6s on St Chris. Everyone returns on Grove with 5s/6s doing a lap around the school block. Bone Thugs took us out. Announcements: Thoughts go to Bone Thugs as he embarks on his half marathon this weekend.

A cool dozen came for promises of simple and flat routes and were not disappointed. Considering the double barrel of hills last week, today’s long open stretches were a nice change. East on Grove, cut over to Floyd and eventually head north on Strawberry, Vine, and Harrison respectively. Back on Hanover and make your way back to Grove via Thompson. YHC took us out. It was great to see Chippendale back in our midst in the recent weeks. Gumbo knows of volunteer opportunities through Sportable. If you are able to commit a few hours and ride a bike, they need…

Was written in chalk on the sidewalk from which we launched. A lucky 7 runners and 2 walkers headed into the fog for an eerie start to the Halloween season. West on Grove to Granite and pick off the Snake River route for the rest of Richmond’s hills. A second serving of hills for those who ran Spider Run. The Tempsford hills never disappoint. Marv had his best day ever tackling hills with the speed of a beast. YHC took us out.

Brief mumble chatter until the route was called and off we went on Reverse Carillon. Great conversation along the way, and even a Sippy Cup spotting. At one point on the route we almost stepped on what looked like a skunk pancake. If anyone was going to make contact with the remnants, it would be Marv. –> 10/14 for the 12th annual beer mile. See Slack for details. YHC took us out.

East on Grove to Rosneath head North. 5s/6s do a loop around Bramley Park and check the tap at Starr Hill and make their way back to Broad. Head west and take Lafayette to Grove and circle the block around the AO. Anthrax took us out. Oyster is grateful for a fast back blast today. Announcements: Convergence tomorrow at 730

Yeah, the routes today were a bit complex. The Pax came equipped with maps and readiness to explore roads otherwise not trodden. Cooler weather hopefully signal prime running conditions going forward. Byproduct took us out.
