17 Pax had a strong showing today with the Setauket route before them.
OBT took us out.
NMS:
YHC provided route instructions and maps prior to the run which kept us closer to the intended course, but there were a few strays. The third time will be the winner!
YHC likes this route with the various neighborhoods and terrain – rolling hills as well as long stretches on Dover. The hill on Charmian did not disappoint and brought some BRR love to the RVA. You are welcome.
The good samaritan award goes to Upchuck. Upon seeing an older lady standing on the sidewalk at 5:30, he looped back to make sure she was ok. Turns out she was waiting for the bus, but Upchuck’s character came through.
Announcements:
- Upchuck’s golf tournament on Monday
- Reese Strong 5K September 16 – Oyster, crabs, colbeer, and fellowship afterwards
- See TYA for those interested in BRR spots
Time to Taper,

Great to have OBT join us this morning – Thanks for taking us out dude – enjoyed the citrus/chicken beers and conversation last night.
Lockjaw – some day I’ll run that route and not get turned around :).
Way to push today fella’s – beautiful morning for a run!
See y’all in the gloom…
Enjoyed the route Lockjaw. Enjoyed running with OBT and Flatline pushing the pace at the end, getting BRR ready.
Very tough route, but better for it. Thanks LJ.
Great route and I think Marv and I figured it out 100% today. Good thing I loaded up on vitamin C last night.
Great hanging out. If you want to make fun of my beer selection or wardrobe, complaints are accepted through the website.
Loved the wardrobe- ah beer selection questionable…. But whatever its good friends and beers – it’s a beautiful thing !
Ive got your back (probably) on the beer selection, Splinter! Wardrobe, you probably need to see TYA.
