The miles covered and the words said is what it is all about.

4 PAX assembled on a rainy Friday morning, most were hopeful for a little run/walk in the snow. Alas it was not to be. No Q signed up, so Sippy planned the running route. Runners: Head east down Grove. Turn right at Morris near VCU. Turn right at Floyd and head back west. Jug handle to Grove near the highway and back to the flag. Interesting conversations along the way about EVs, parking structures, and transportation efficiency. Walkers: Head down Grove to Starbucks. Mosey back. COT: Sippy took us out.

9 runners, 1 walker and 1 late arrival headed out into the gloom for a run south of Cary St. YHC reviewed the routes that had been posted the night before.4s: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5879361016/ 5s: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5879364109/ 6s: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5879361703/ Hearing no questions, the PAX headed out. Having reviewed the posted routes the night before, the late arrival was able to catch up with the PAX, and even surprised a few with his miraculous appearance. AnnouncementsGreat job to Bootleg completing the Snowy Owl 10 Miler last weekend! TYA reports he sped through it! Numberama, Namerama and YHC took us out.

Seven on foot and two on wheels leaned into the colder temps and hit some crisp road miles. Today’s route had some west on Grove, a little Patterson, Bromley was prominent in the route and a dip into Windsor Farms. Something for everyone. Announcements: GrowRuck – Sign up for an adventure that you are not going to want to miss. See Slack for details. HDHH – 1/17 – Slack will be the source for details. YHC took us out. It was great to connect with Hitch over coffee afterwards.

An intrepid eleven emerged from the fog for the last RAMM of the year. Heading west on Grove to Lexington to Patterson west. Pick up Willow Lawn Dr and Monument east. 4s take Lafayette, 5s Tilden, and 6s Mulberry – all to Grove and home. Upchuck took us out. Coffee at Starbucks hit a nice range of topics – ranging from the practical to the impractical.

Thirteen runners and two riders took advantage of a fantastic morning to get some exercise. No haiku run today as YHC beat Lockjaw to the signup sheet. Instead, a retry of the Q*bert run. Strange sounds were emitted from Sippy then off we went. The Route Numbers, names, YHC took us out. Moleskin Trumpet nose appearsQ*bert provides a great runMarv limps back to flag Great camaraderie at coffeeteria post run. Enjoy the holiday’s everyone. Splinter out.

10 wise men showed up, no one was on the Q, a conversation occurred and off we went. North on Commonwealth, east on Monument returning on Grove (or Hanover, whatever suits your fancy). 4s turn at Arthur Ashe, 5s and 6s turn on something 22 minutes out up to Grove and home. As Bodos and YHC were discussing proposed routes over near the antique mobile, the pax started to trickle in and the holiday Monument Ave run was called to order. May need to change this annual tradition that left the ‘tacky light run’ a little to be desired. Monument…

Run, Ruck, Walk, it didn’t matter. I bunch of fellas showed up in terrific weather for the activities at hand. Route is posted in slack. Apparently some do not care for Number/Name-o-Rama in counterclockwise order….to the point of ignoring the Q and committing acts of treason. I am will not quit in my quest to conduct business in reverse-order…when I am so inclined. Anyway, have a great weekend fellas, and thanks for your support…at least while it lasted. Saab abides

Early morning dark Saab stayin’ warm in Swirl’s truck Singer’s watch marks the time Heading west on Grove Three Chopt splits routes by distance Returning on Grove Country club for some Gravity’s pull on the hills The owl strikes with stealth Happy hour next week Final Gravity it is Lockjaw took us out
