17 eager beavers in need of a bush trimming posted for a Fudd inspired route. Alas, Hitch was not there to manage the landscaping but we ventured out into Westham anyway. A fav route for many returned after a hiatus of several years. #Brocode style made it a nice change from typical split routes…..several 4 milers commented that they worked harder because they knew the 5 and 6 milers were running the whole time, looping back to the Six. After COT there was a minor scuffle between Anthrax’s dog (sorry can’t remember his name) and someone else’s puppy (not sure…

Happy Birthday Wedding Singer??? Wedding Singer + 21 of his 0530 friends met in the sunken parking lot that we call Spider Run launch. We ran the following, then heard Singer subtly say his name + age. No one called him out on it, until now. Moleskin The PAX hit some different roads today, or at least made different turns to get to similar roads. Due to the need to test one’s will by running past a scary house, these extreme reaches of the AO are lightly traveled. That resulted…

Fifteen runners and walkers rolled in just in time for the route instructions. It seems this route closely resembled one Gomer Pyle did last week. We went over the river and through the woods and back. Great mumble chatter with the pack YHC was running with. Always a good time! YHC took us out.

8 fearless men met on a nearly perfect running morning for a little out and back. According to the SOJ Barred Owl that loudly expressed his consternation on missing Saab this morning. 15 runners -or at least we started with 15 runners – embraced the pollen and cooler temps for some miles. Off we went around the lake, over the trail and ascending University Dr. A quick turn on the parkway and an immediate exit on Lakewood takes us to Ziontown. We then connected with University again to Gaymont and survey the First Watch AO. All was well. 4s head back on Westham to Glen to College to the trail/lake combo. 5s/6s drop down to Westham Station and the bat cave with 6s taking a detour down and up Ross. Bodos took…

To celebrate TYA’s double respect the PAX ran his favorite route, Grooooooove. During the COT, our honored leader talked about being grateful for many things and prayed to be a better man, father, friend, etc. Notably absent, a better and more reliable backblast writer.
