More than I thought…

5

That was definitely the theme of the day. Ten pax was more than I thought would show up on a BRR day that was supposed to be a total rainy mess (it wasnt). Also, Wedding Singer called the route for the 4 milers and it was “more than I thought”.

Route called was Reverse Carillon. Sippy was the only sixer, but opted to slum it with the 5 milers. 4 milers did a choose your own adventure, with Hitch having more adventure than he bargained for with some GI issues. Pullout and No Tools honked the horns as they rode past at 0530 to pick up any stragglers on the bikes (there were none).

Great to run with Handshake this morning and work out some stuff. Your a good man, Charlie Brown.

Lab Rat apologizes…

  1. Announcements:

-Good luck to the BRR teams! Follow their progress on the TwitterGate.

    -F3 Campout in 2 or 3 weeks.

-Sunday Funday will be mountain bike heavy this week. If you want to ride, come on. There may or may not be runners this week.

  2. Good running with the professors. Thanks for the enlightening conversation Sippy Cup and Offshore, also thanks for the push. I went a little faster than I planed to today and that’s ok.

  3. I’ve come to the conclusion that Reverse Carillon has no 4 mile route. Took Sippy’s advice and cut back Sheppard to Cary, still hit 4.5. More than I thought I’d hit today, no complaints.

  4. OK, so this is the 4 mile route I mapped out a while back:

-go to Cary St., right on Nansemond (after Thompson)
-At T intersection, left on Grayland
    -Right on Shepard
-Circle around the tennis courts and back on Boulevard to Grove.

Comes in just under 4.2 miles.

  5. Good running with you today, Lab Rat. I eye-rolled a few times, but overall I thought the conversation was great.
