Rodgers, he’s a player right?

7 well chiseled middle-aged folks descended on the frozen tundra of Short Pump Middle School and Pouncey Tract Park to endure a beatdown. While we were missing a few of our regulars due to mission trips and fart sacking, we had a good ole time.

COP: Invisible jump rope, DQs, CPs, FMs and arm circles.

My daughters purchased a ten-sided foam dice that had different exercises on each side. We would mosey a couple hundred feet throw the dice and see what we had to do. Anything from Bonnie Blairs to mountain climbers to burpees to merkins to Supermans (or Supermen). On our long mosey we fit in the following:

Curb crawl up to 5 down to 1

Triple check with pole smokers, SSHs and a run around the bus loop triangle.

Dora with 100 wide grip merkins, 200 WWIIs and 300 2 count flutters.

Coupon press wall sits and 2 sets of donkey kicks (15 and 25).

Finished with an odd-looking stretch led by Tater.

Closed in prayer. Pray for Pigskin’s cousin’s daughter who has COVID, is 22 weeks pregnant and is in the hospital. I mistakenly said 22 months pregnant; my bad. As we started our workout, Tater was talking to J’ville about playoff fantasy football and J’ville said “Rodgers, he is a player right?” Perhaps he is watching too much soccer.

Prayers for Pigskin and Gomer doing mission work and for anyone suffering from COVID. We noticed the coffeeteria was more crowded than usual. Perhaps they were hoping to get a glance at us studs. I imagine the ladies (and perhaps a couple of dudes) were disappointed in not seeing Pigskin.

Have a great weekend and I will root for Upstate New York’s team the Bills.
