Milk comes in one way and out another……………

Three regulars showed up to OTB for a chilly walk. We waited briefly for Nancy, but alas, the fartsack held Nancy tight.

Aisle 5 was sharing a surprise big order that came in for Wal-Mart who will be purchasing his Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). And the story began……….cows eat grass, provide the milk to farmers, gets pasturized………………..and so on. Finally got to what the heck the drive is. OC of course knew what a VFD was and they went into geek talk until YHC chimed in and got geek shamed! Great story and Aisle 5 was a good sport with our interruptions. You should ask him, again, great story. Just watch the attached riveting video and you will get the drift.

Oh, back to the milk. We also learned Wal-Mart has a dry storage, cooler (for milk, produce……) and a freezer. The product (milk in this story) gets to the cooler on a DUAL rail crane. Please do not confuse with a SINGLE rail. It just doesnt work the same. His VFD helps deliver to appropriate storage facility.

Super happy he got the order and that he knows what the hell the VFD is and how it works.
