YHC took us out.

NMS

YHC concluded the final stop on the Summer Tour this morning checking the last AO off of the list.  On the drive over, the check engine light came on, but nothing alarming.  YHC parked in the lower lot to scope out the AO and upon driving to the top lot, the car stalled out.  Dead.

The show must go on and we got on with the workout and even including the car into the workout.

This AO is really nice.  I was a little skeptical at first when I pulled up and there was no one around except an old dog on the track that just stared at me.  This canine was our sole spectator.

The Summer Tour has been great.  Wonderful opportunity to see AOs across our region as well as meet new brothers in our Pax.  It’s not too late for one to start the tour (though getting pretty close).

The Pax pushed it hard this morning.  Welcome FNG Slim Shady!  We hope to see you back out soon.

  1. Great job on the tour, Lockjaw. I agree with everything you said in terms of meeting new F3 brothers and seeing all the AOs. Tclaps to Phonics for organizing.
Good Q this morning, too. I was thinking you might be trying to Q every AO on the tour, I swear you Q’d at least a third of my tour stops.
Way to work this morning, all. I thought since we were essentially swimming across the field for the barchetta, I might challenge Tobit. Well, verbally anyway. I tried it and he found another gear and left me in the dust. Apparently a faster swimmer than me, too.
Welcome Slim Shady! There are some good SOJ AOs peppered all through the week…hope to see you again soon.

  2. Great Q this morning, Lockjaw! Nice to have you SOJ…and awesome job finishing up the summer tour. Have you found out what was up with your car?

Way to work hard this morning fellas. Despite being the celery of exercises (per Vinny), 100 SSHs is no joke.

    Welcome Slim Shady…come back soon!

  3. While not intentional to Q all stops on the Summer Tour, a quick check with Big Data and I Q’d 62.5% of those AOs.

  4. Wedding Singer on

Pure classic CSAUP stuff right there, car breaks down at the last site of the summer tour.

  5. I had a little help on the chorus from Ollivander! I was waiting for Wedding Singer to take over, per his epithet, but he was probably thinking “What is that noise?”

    Welcome to Slim Shady.

  6. Wedding Singer on

I was caught up in thought, wondering why we’re trudging across this wet field with a perfectly dry track a few steps away. I think I heard the faint wafts of ‘so tough….so tough’ coming through the gloom.
