85 degrees and 50% humidity greeted us today as three of set out for a (approximate) 3 mile lunchtime downtown run. We, being gloom warriors, are more used to pre-dawn conditions and we aren’t quite used to seeing the sun since it’s been hiding recently. Nevertheless we set off for a fairly standard run, though a little slow considering our attempts to acclimate and since Lab Rat isn’t feeling quite himself.
No speed records were set but it was nice to have Swiper along and to see Sugar Sock on the bridge.
The more the merrier so if you can, come join us next week.

Word. Sorry to bail. Believe it or not, that run was the highlight of my day. All downhill from there…
You didn’t bail – we barely made it to Governors square. So humid… hope you feel better soon homie
The heat killed me. My heart rate was in dangerous territory.
It was rough. Hoping that I aclimate soon.
