Keep It Simple……..

16 Road Warriors posted to YHC inaugural Q for Spider Run and keeping with the time honored tradition YHC was calling Patterson but meaning Grove and calling Grove but meaning Patterson….go figure. Within 2 minutes before 0530, the route was explained:

Up the Hill….Gateway to Campus across Three Chopt Rd, L on St Christophers, R on Patterson..

4 milers-R on Libbie, R on Grove Ave, R on Henri and back down to UR.

5 milers-R on Harlan, bare L on Oak St., R on Grove, R on Henri and back down to UR.

6 milers-R on Bunting, R on Grove, R on Henri and back down to UR.

Number-ama, Name-r-ama, Announcements–CSAUP. TYA states Splinter has routes for Richmond Proper so please consult TYA with questions.

YHC took us out!

Naked Mole Skin: Saab looked around for YHC at 0526 than said, “there you are. Where we going?” And in true fashion, run where I mean, not where I say but that is difficult. So after stating the correct roads, off we went! Marv quickly caught Saab and Splinter with Sippy Cub right next too. YHC thought about 6 miles today…

Shakedown thanks for pushing YHC! BT, Swirly, Shakedown, 2nd F during 1st F is always awesome! Great to see Bleeder posting this am. Solid!

16 men at Spider Run is outstanding. Sorry YHC scuttle fudged COT…..with little blonde hair left, YHC had a blonde moment!

Splinter-kudos and thanks for all your hard work to CSAUP. ALL of IT! Much respect!!

Thoughts and prayer go out to BT’s family and Labrat and all others who might need them!! Gentlemen, we are blessed and this morning we opened our mind, hearts, and spirit with Spider Run. Thank you for following!

Only those who post understand!!

Loud and Proud!

Great route Flatline ! Way to push fella’s – 16 is strong @ Spider Run !
Enjoyed the run BT ! Is it me or did Saabski and Splinter blow by us like we were standing still ??
    See y’all in the gloom…

  2. Swirly, BT thanks for the pace. I stayed 10-20 steps behind you for a while, then fell out of earshot, then right at the end lost sight. Had multiple 6-milers pass as well on the way back but kept them in sight (and asked for and received directions as they went past – thanks for that guys) long enough to find campus, but then discovered Richmond Way has 2 intersections with the main drag and went down the first one, incorrectly. 0.25 mile the wrong way in and then back out, found a landscaping guy who directed me back to the library and Flatline was on his way to find me (thanks brother!) as I turned down the correct Richmond Way. So for the record, I was NOT LOST (again).

  3. Traditionally someone takes a wrong turn somewhere. It just always happens to be TYA by the sororities the majority of the time.

  4. You’re not lost if you know where you are!

I heard something about St Christopher’s, Patterson, Grove, Henri.

I saw all of those streets and this time found Maple and made it back on time which was the priority since i was running alone.

Enjoyed the run today. Thanks Flatline

  5. Flatline!! Great route. I was pushing you? I thought you were pushing me.

Saab blew our doors off…. ???

Great to see you all this morning, as always. Well done gentlemen

Well, I felt like we were cruising at a good clip, but couldn’t catch Flatline or Shakedown, then got smoked by the 4 horses (because they are so loud) in the last half mile. Unfortunately, looking fast and feeling fast doesn’t make one actually fast. Loved the route, though!

  7. Flatline – way to step up and own the route today. I thought you gave perfectly clear instructions. Don’t worry about the snowflakes that need very explicit details.
