YHC hasn’t Q’d a workout since the DaVille takeover way back in June. Spit lit a fire under YHC to come out of retirement and step up. Challenge accepted.
A smaller PAX showed up and it was quickly noted that the 2.0s were all in the fart sack in light of the first week of school (some dads were too). YHC was pleasantly surprised to see Mudface avoid being a LIFO but then realized that his three 2.0s were asleep. He noted that it was a lot easier to show up on time without the 2.0s.
The mosey around the field soaked all of our shoes but warmed up the PAX for some hand-release merkins fun. The moaning grew over time in the COP. Opus made some comment and that led to an automatic doubling of the number of LBCs. He has been known to trigger YHC in this way.
The PAX smashed the rest of the workout, including the increasing skull crusher pain under the pavilion.
It felt great to be back in the lead. Thank you to Spit and the PAX for the encouragement and challenges. We are all better when we light fires under each other.
Announcements:
