Hero Cuts

7

Vinny Baseball was born at Batteau, so it only made sense for it to depart from Batteau. Was glad to be able to have BT experience what others have so eloquently described:

“F*$^ me! I’m so tired of being sore” – Hardywood (5/5 rotten tomatoes)

“Fun for the whole family” – Upchuck (there aren’t enough tomatoes)

I think ‘Ole BT got his groove back. Hero pitches were thrown. Hero cuts were taken. What a beautiful morning for some calisthenics, infield and BP.

  1. Great to be with my brothers this morning to get it all out. We all know what we need to do as leaders in our communities. Let’s go do it.

Looks like a great game there boys – sorry had to slip out early
    See y’all in the gloom..

  3. What a blast and send-off. This might be a beatdown that in 2 years has 30 guys remembering they were there…

  4. First time I did Vinny baseball, it was 75 degrees and 95% humidity. Ugh.

Second time (today), 57 degrees and 30% humidity. Bring it. Well done, fellas.

Did anyone find a jockstrap around home plate? It may have been left there after a BT change up. Asking for a friend.

  5. When I saw the cones and the Richmond Braves bat, I only knew then what was coming. I have never wanted to skip first base and head all the way home. Great job Vinny.

And good lord BT! Way to throw some heat.

So fun. Glad I got to be part of the Vinny send off, and can’t beat some baseball thrown in. Even better after a long bootcamp hiatus. I forgot how many burpees can be done in 45 min without even trying. I’m still icing my arm, along with everything else. Don’t be a stranger, Vinny!
