Welcome to the Richmond Region!

9

I’m not sure if anyone realized it, but you woke up as part of the Richmond Region on Monday morning.  Prior to attaining that status we were “nomads.”  We’ve technically been nomads since we started on 9/20/14, but we know we’ve been growing all along.

To become a region we needed to show a growth in PAX, increased numbers of workouts, participation in 2nd F events and CSAUPs, and a commitment to the 3rd F.  The change in status comes as a result of YOUR hard work at workouts, YOU continually EH’ing to stamp out the Sad Clown, and YOU giving F3 away to those in your community.

I don’t think any of us can say for sure what the future of F3 in RVA will be, but the possibilities are part of the fun.  It’s an honor to be a part of this region, and I can’t wait to see how we’ll grow in the future.

Aye!

  1. Awesome. Now that I know we were deemed Nomads, I feel better about myself now.

Does this mean we can now go CO-ED!!

  2. So glad we can stop wandering for pasture for our livestock! FEBA!

  3. My only goal for the post was to make Saab feel better. Mission accomplished!

Re your other question, I would direct you back to the F3 mission and core principals on f3nation.com.

  4. I’ll try to net this out while not being a member of the F3 Expansion team. Nomads are workouts that are located outside of a full region. While somewhat autonomous, the expansion team still reaches out to make sure they’re growing and passing on the mission of F3.

We’ve well established that we can take care of our little place in the world, so the Expansion team is considering the Richmond expansion to be done. Yay for us!

The big responsibility that comes with Region status is an expectation that we will spread F3 beyond Richmond and keep things moving outward. From the Lexicon, COLAM: Concentric expansion method, by which a Region plants Nomads outside of its boundaries but within 100 miles.

Now that I’ve bored everyone to tears and in summary, we should keep having fun, keep growing, and find more ways to lead in the community.

  5. That is a great answer: informative with refernces to Lexicon, included the mission statement, and put Lab Rat in place in a kindly manner. Solid work, Toga.

  6. Why do we need Regional status, I thought we were F3 Corporate? All kidding aside great job fella’s.
