2 davillians posted this morning for a Tomato Run but neither knew the other was there until halfway through. YHC started out a lonely run in the midst of the mist at around 5:30.  Behind school, honey meadows, KC, turn around and head back.  Got to back of CSES and said Hi to this crazy guy walking the other way.  Mudface!  Joy abounded as we met up and leisurely made it back to Atlee. Numbers, Names, etc. NMS — Unbeknownst to Mudface, YHC had been trying to figure out the best place to ‘let nature do its due diligence’ back…

3 Davillians stumbled out of the fartsack and put in some miles this morning, and it seems like fall may be starting to make it’s presence known, as temps weren’t feeling bad at all.  YHC and Mudface did our normal ruck walk for a little over 3 miles, while Phonics put in a skosh over 5 miles of running.  YHC apologizes, but I have no clue about Phonic’s route.  Mudface and YHC did our typical behind the schools and into Honey Meadows loop, had to skip the trail today, unfortunately. As usual, I have No Idea what I’m doing.

5 DaVillans arrived at a much needed cooler start of the week to get in some miles Routes were as follows: Mudface and No Idea headed out for their 3 Mile ruck. They did hit the trails which they mentioned later was a bad idea. Rounders, Mayhem, and YHC headed out onto Atlee Station and over the bridge. Mayhem got behind and decided to head back for a couple laps around the parking lot. Rounders and YHC turned back at the Bojangles, check on Mayhem, then headed for a loop around the schools and part of Honey Meadows to get…

4 Runners and 2 Ruckers arrived at Atlee high school for the finally bro code run of the summer (or so we thought). This how it went down: ROUTES  Ruckers – Completed their normal route out to Honey Meadow and back for about 3 miles Runners – Bridge is not completed so time for a new route. Leave the school head left onto Atlee Station, up and over the bridge left onto Barnfield Ln, left onto Rutlandshire Dr, right onto Combs Dr, Right onto Cool Spring Rd, Left into Cool Springs West, take a loop around the subdivision, head across…

4 men rejected the fartsack and figured out a new traffic pattern to make it to Tomato Run. The two visitors put in 5.5 miles going behind the school and through Honey Meadows.  YHC and Mudface again missed the trails due to rain, and figured out we haven’t been able to do them at all this summer.  YHC got the Q because when Mudface asked “Who’s got the Q today?” YHC answered “I’ve got no idea” then immediately face palmed.  oh well. It was good to see Rosie again and meet Swiper, hope to see you guys at the Convergence…

A PAX of one made it to Tomato Run this morning.  With Spit out of town and the fart sack claiming Mudface, YHC was on his own this morning.  I meandered down the back road behind the schools (trails were too slippery) and through Honey Meadows, before returning and going up the almost ready new road to see what I could see, totaling a little over 3 miles. As usual I have No Idea what I’m doing.

Two runners and one rucker showed up to Tomato Run in the humidity ready to get some miles in. Even though YHC had the Q, I was looking forward to discovering the Mechanicsville trails, so Spit functioned as trail guide for the day. 2 miles out on the trails, and 2 miles back on the roads and Spit and YHC finished up a few minutes early with 4 miles in the bag. Mudface did his usual ruck, and was back to the shovel flag on time and we wrapped up with a quick namerama, numberama, and COT. Thanks to Spit…

Yesterday’s nice, hot, weather yielded to today’s rain, with YHC and 3 PAX deciding this was no deterrent at all. Kubota and Spit headed out through Honey Meadows, down the back trail to Kings Charter and then around the back way to the COT.  YHC and Mudface rucked it (he did, I didn’t) around the high school and middle school grounds.  The runners put in about 5 miles, the slower group about 3. NMS Spit had planned to show other runners the trails today, but the weather got in the way. Another day, hopefully.  It started raining harder when YHC…

Four intrepid Pax fought lightning, zero visibility, and torrential downpours to make it to Tomato Run.  Once to the AO, the rain held back for perfect running conditions.  We went through King’s Charter and picked up some trails returning us to the AO.  Mudface defied lightning and science to ruck with a pack full of steel plates. YHC took us out. While the entire drive up 301 was washed out and zero visibility, the last quarter mile next to the construction was the most hazardous.  Driving along the jersey wall with the train on the other side, there was a…

2 Warriors didn’t let the weekend hangout stop them from getting some miles in. This is how it went down: ROUTE Head out of the Atlee parking lot down the access toad and completed the Kings Charter loop and the Honey Meadows trail loop for 5.25 miles MOLESKIN It was great to catch up with Hardywood this morning. Congrats on completing the Summer Tour before the 2.0’s arrival. YHC counted 10 bunny sightings during the run this morning. So glad Hardywood got a glimpse of the DaVille wildlife. At the end of the run, YHC and Hardywood figured out that…
