YHC rolled up to see a couple of gents ready for the run for the morning, we had 3 walkers post @ 5am so they could get in a long walk to return by 6:15 at the clubhouse. It was definitely COLD this morning that the runners started immediately once we arrived…did not have time to open the hand warmers…just get moving. YHC had to modify route to a 4.3 mile route with a slower 9:30 + / mile pace. The route had some gradual declines followed by a long steady climb for about 2 miles. Great mumblechatter and was…

5 Davillians and a visitor from south of the wall enjoy a cooler but not cold morning for a run. The normal route was called of looping around Rutland crossing over to Cool Spring Forest to hit the trail then back into Rutland and finish with the Bojangles loop. We had 4, 4.5, and 5+ miles out today. Great mumble chatter this morning had by all. Enjoyed having Doublemint join us this morning ANNOUNCEMENTS – The second ramp building date for Jan will be moved to after tax season so sometime in late April. Corned Beef will provide details with…

YHC rolled up to the parking lot of Rutland Clubhouse, to find it empty…at first, then Marco Polo rolled up and Mr. Holland came in hot to get this early morning run in on this cold morning. As we are working on pace this morning we started a couple of weeks ago at a 10 min/mile pace and this morning 9 min – 36 sec mile was the average, starting slow then getting to a comfortably – uncomfortable pace for a total of 4.74 miles. We did the Taylor farm loop with the BoJangle’s return loop added for a nice…

YHC pulled up to people in the parking lot this time to have a total of 5 for the run morning. We had a 4 and 5 mile route for the guys and YHC ran with Mr Holland and Bulkhead for a steady 4 mile Taylor Farm route. Marco Polo ran ahead with Hash on a 4.5-5 mile route and we all circled up at the club house for a cool down lap around the parking lot. We had a great conversation while running and this was much better than the solo run from last week for sure! Numberama, Namerama…

YHC decided to take the rest of the week off for the Christmas Holiday season and to start the holidays off right headed out to lead this morning’s run. Show up and no one had posted wait to ensure no late comers and had to take a bathroom break, returned, still no sign of anyone, so YHC sets off. This time the route is through the Giles community for a solid 4 mile run, no trails, just different roads, some unpaved but curb and gutter was installed. Had to watch out for the elevated Manholes as it was dark, (Tuesday…

YHC pulled up for a run and had 2 others show up so we decided for a Taylor Farm 4 mile route. We had some great mumble chatter for this run, talking about family, the holidays and what we plan to do next year. It was great to catch up with Opus and Bulkhead this morning. Nice cool weather and a great recovery run pace. Numberama, Namerama and Opus took us out in prayer.

A Fab 5 to advance of the warm weather to get in a run this morning. The plan was run for an hour at your own pace. Distance ranged from 5.5 to 6.25 miles. It was great to finally met Clint and also to have Mr. Holland join us for a run We headed over to the Local Cup and met up with the two that went to Dogpile Plans were discuss about a half marathon in April SPIT ON THAT!!

YHC showed up to the Rutland Club house to an empty parking lot, knowing that some Davillians may run to meet up here, waited until 1 minute past go time…no others, time to run. With no pre-thought out route, started with a reverse Bojangles loop to get the juices flowing, run over the train bridge and turn into Giles and do the loop near their clubhouse. Return back over the Sliding Hill Road Bridge run past the Rutland clubhouse and turn around to a large barking dog (a little shocked sprint) and backup to the intersection u-turn to clubhouse and…

8 guys took some time this morning for a 5k the hard way. Fun times had by all! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

YHC learned that we would have some F3 Davillians that have not posted at Tomato Run for awhile and with 3 others showing up we went for a 4.3 or 4.6 mile run and see the route below: This was the 4.3 mile run where we ran to back of Atlee HS, then into Honey Meadows, through Taylor Farms back on Atlee Station road turn into Giles to the 1st turn circle and return to the start. the 4.6 Mile run route was the same except that instead of turning into Giles run past turn and take the BoJangle’s loop…
