12 strong (9 big, 3 small) attacked the Roller Coaster on Wednesday evening in the rising temperatures. Kubota, Husky, Hardywood, Halfpipe, Vinny and Shark Bait all did 2 short loops. Swirly did 2 long and 1 short loop. TYA did 6 short loops. Opus and Sugar Sock did 4 short loops. Rosie and Bleeder did a mixture of both loops (unknown, YHC forgot to ask) Numberama, Namearama and YHC took us out NMS: Possible record numbers at Roller Coaster this evening!!  Between a mixture of Pax wanting to check this off of the challenge list, veterans who are training…

3 studs posted for the Wed night Hill run and here is how it went down! Lockjaw – rocked some  short loops TYA &  Swirly – started early and did two long loops and 1 short. 5 strong posted on a hot and wet Wednesday afternoon for a run. 2 big loops for some and 2.25 miles for others. Kubota writing on behalf of Husky.  YHC=Husky Two veteran hill runners, one hill runner that needs improvement, and one rookie hill runner took on the Hillcrest loops on a gorgeous afternoon. Swirly and TYA completed two extra long loops for about 4.5 miles Kubota and YHC completed two short loops for about 1.5 miles. Two studs posted for the Wed evening hill run and here is how we rolled.. Wheelbarrow – 1 long loop –  1 short loop Swirly – 2 long loops Boom! Great to have Wheelbarrow out on a Wed evening run – well done dude. Come on out fella’s and get your miles in !

Four rested and ready runners arrived for a run around the river.  Regular route for the run. NMM: First hot day of running in Richmond.  Weather was north of ninety at the start, but humidity was low.  Launched with plenty of cold water and the bubblers are now on around the trails so water is plentiful.  Lots of sweat, but no overheating issues today.  YHC did not follow EF Hutton’s lead and wear the headgear and had a sweat in the eye problem.  For a few minutes crossing the bridge at the end when the sun was in my eyes,…

Two warriors showed up for Roller Coaster on Wed night and here is how it went down. Two long laps = 5k = Boom ! Spit’s last run before the Colonial – nice and easy baby! Best wishes to Spit , Screendoor, Dreamliner and the rest of their team as they all run this weekend – we will be thinking about you guys – go gettem !
