What started with 2 ended with a trio of flexible veteran Brogiis that took to No Toll early this morning With questionable conditions in the forecast, sunny and 70 is what occurred. Some snapping tree limbs in the distance caused some concerns that flexibility was an issue but turned out all good. Good to see Chaplain regularly attend these sessions and Doozy popping in for a quick stretch. SYITG

A limber foursome hit the courts of No Toll prior to a long awaiting helping of Gumbo. Quads were worked hard this morning followed by the ever popular Shavasana. Good to have Doublemint join the Brogii regulars Chap and Doozy. Seems broga is becoming a trend.

A pair of limber stallions returned to the courts of No Toll for the 2nd week for some Broga. With numbers doubling from the previous week, some early morning stretching was called for prior to the epic beatdown DTH was throwing down. Core work was the key with the abs being tested for the full session. Good to have Chaplain back in the fold as we continue to reignite the Broga fire.

Three redwoods embarked on a ruck in the evening gloom. Packs were loaded with the appropriate weight, straps pulled tight and off we went. These three amigos shared stories, jokes, and showed off new scars. According to the owl in the tree, we covered about 4.7 miles in around 90 minutes with some hills thrown in there for good measure. More rucking will definitely be scheduled in the future.

When 5 pax show up for a pre-run of an AO, I guess it counts as post. This morning and hour before GridIron, 5 HIMs showed up to answer the call for a 10 mile prerun. Don Draper created a 2021 Marathon Slack Channel and for some silly reason added YHC to the channel.. I’m not running a Marathon that’s just crazy!!! I tried it once and broke both feet 4 days before the race… the great Sky Q told me right then and there that YHC is not supposed to run that far and he SMACKED me back down…

A pair of Brogee veterans arrived to No Toll Early for Broga. Today we worked the hamstrings and lower body to ease our veteran bodies into the day. Temps were mild 70 degrees. Perfect for flexing the lower limbs. Good chatter with Chaplain. Always feel better after these sessions.

One PAX returned to the pre-COVID AO for the most recent edition of The Shopping Trip (not to be confused with The Field, which is a beat down). Conditions were sunny and 70 (with a side order of humidity). According to the series of business park Security Guards, this was the route: north on Pine Island, east to 8150, then through 8151, past the LaQuinta (no police / obvious arrests today), left on SW 10th, left on SW 78th, left on Federated to Broward. Reverso and BTTVSF. Name, number, YHC took us out with a quick RIP for Omar’s (see…

After a few week hiatus, YHC put the call out last night for a Pre Posey Broga session. A trio of agile brogiis arrived early to the steamy courts of No Toll to test their flexibility. It has been a few weeks so back to the basics with a few new poses, Proud Peacock seemed to be a Chaplain favorite and one that will be brought back in teh future. Savasana is always popular with YHC. Good to see Doublemint join us early morning as a break from his BRR training. A bit more humid than prior weeks made for…

4 Pax declined the lure of the dinner time Couch Sack and cast off for an evening paddle. Two came from home; two from the prior workout. Conditions: flat water, good river camaraderie, 70/sunny. According to the teenagers jumping into the swimming hole, here’s most likely what happened: Route: East/southeast on the James (downstream). UPC estimates 8500 lateral feet. Return by similar route against the modest current. Workout time ~1.5 hours. ~3 miles. NMS: solid chatter, great conditions, super sunset, and the PAX choice of ice cold malted adult beverages. This was living correctly. Thank you, gentlemen, for talking YHC…
