YHC had to head downrange to Nahf@ck for work, so Shakedown and Gypsy sent along the digits for some F3HR peeps. It was 70 degrees-ish and sunny at The Boathouse AO in the parking lot of the Tidewater Tides baseball stadium, when three gloom warriors gathered to meet the day – here’s how it went down: Ruck up (20-30 lbs each) and hoof it for 2.5 miles at a 18:00 min/mi pace more or less. Numbers, names, Sunshine took us out. NMMS: One of the best things about F3 is finding extended family of sorts no matter where you travel.…

One PAX less than energetically launched at the Clinic. Temps were actually 70 and sunny. According to the not handicap hotel employee who had a handicapped tag and parked in a handicapped space, heres what happened: YHC decides to do loops. about 1.5 miles per loop. 3 loops today. Number, name, YHC took himself out. Announcements: Fudd is moving back to Westham. Super. Welcome home. NMS: Nada. Quiet day.

One PAX threw off the lure of the Fart Sack to inaugurate, not for the first time, the AO now known as The Clinic. Temperatures were 70 and sunny (actually 64, but no complainers here). According to the people preparing to charge other people money for the privilege of working out in the Broward Mall parking lot, this is more or less what happened: Stretch and moan in the hotel parking lot. Short walk to get the blood flowing. Mosey 1/2 mile, then realize that office key has been left in the car. Footnote: YHC has a routine. Hotel room,…

One PAX delivered himself up for physical redemption (from last night’s pizza dinner). Conditions were 70 and sunny. According to the security cameras in the DHL parking lot, the following might have happened: 1/2 mile run to the parking area. COP: Standard stuff: SSHs, stretches, DQ’s, IW’s, HRMs, WWIIs. Lot Loops: DHL has a large parking lot (large = massive). Everyone works from home now, meaning open lot. YHC estimates 1/4 mile loop. Run the full loop then add 40 of an exercise at the end of the loop. Exercises were: WWIIsFlutter kicksRosalita’sHeels to heavenDolly’sHRMs (20) 1/2 mile run back.…

One PAX peeled off the outer layers of The Fart Sack and scrambled forth into an unseasonably cool morning. Temps were 70 and sunny in the heart, 61 on the skin, and south Florida was there for the taking. According to the early riser in the green Camaro, here’s more or less what happened: 1/2 mile run to the AO. COP (in cadence, unless otherwise noted): SSHs, DQs, IWs, Dead Man Hang (sans cadence ’cause still cadence is silly), light stretching, WWIIs, FKs, HRMs…mosey 1/4 mile. Intermittent running / exercises for 1/2 mile. HRMs, Rosalitas, decline merkins, dips. 4 Corners…

One pax scraped himself out of the Fartsack and launched for the first 2022 Lake Florida workout. Temps were 70 and sunny (definitely not 25). According to the construction crew on Peters, this might be what happened: Run today. Hotel loop across the lake, cross Peters to the office lot, round the spot where HoneyDo rolled his ankle back in the day, north on 30-something street to Broward Blvd, and reverso BTTVSF. Just shy of 4.5. 5 minutes of Chum-inspired stretching. Number, name, and YHC mumbled himself out. NMS: nice to be back. Two new apartment complexes have sprung up…

YHC was able to post several times in Indiana including my first ever Ruck in the pouring rain, luckily it was a wet 60 degrees that morning (not normal for Indiana in late December). YHC met several new PAX but got to re-connect with some that I’ve come to know on previous trips. I had the M take this pic of a sign that I thought was perfect but I doubt there really is a beatdown that happens in this area of BFE.

Having recently connected with Toga in Richmond, YHC posted in F3Nashville with him on a morning that was literally 70 degrees though not yet sunny. A 27 year old HIM named House on the Prairie led a descending ladder ground & pound workout with a ton of burpees. He’s about to start OTS at Quantico so I think he was all amped up about that. Coffee was shared afterwards in the parking lot. a great way to start the week after Christmas. Miss you guys up there!

Twenty Eight (including 13 from F3RVA) posted for an inspirational and meaningful experience at The Bridge in Buckingham County. It went something like this: Introductions & Warm-O-Rama (lead by Squirrel): SSHs x 20 / Merkins x 20 / Carolina Dry Docks x 20 / Copperhead Squats x 15 / Third Graders (Cherry Pickers) x 10 / 1 lap around the track. One PAX took to the Gloom, Rain, and Wind for today’s edition of the south Florida shuffle. Temps were 70 and sunny. According to Jim Cantore, the following might have happened: Conditions: winds 30-45 MPH, heavy rain, 75 degrees. Route: North ~2.5 miles on the boardwalk, then the nature walk, back by the same route. Wise Men not present. NMS: This was YHC’s second consecutive week to be fortunate in his business travel location – south Florida on the water. Nice. That said, conditions were difficult. Very high winds and heavy rain at times. This was YHC’s first decent length…
