Curahee route: Four Pax members showed up to take on this run I like to call Rolfes run as we embarked on a series of elevation gains to reach 233 ft up and 172 feet down with an average pace of 8:28 a mile and 170 SPM. The rolling hills definitely add a challenge to this route. All Pax members opted out of the 4 mile loop for the longer distance 5.3. It was a good time! 4 mile route will be right turn pump rd. Two stalwarts held down the fort to get in a nice 6mile run this morning. It was nice sweltering morning in the gloom, starting out at 78 deg and 95% humidity, and we got it done. NMS – whats great about Lighthouse is that he is up for anything. He has come a long way since he started running for real last year. As we started out, our five mile route turned into a solid six and this is a great route with challenges at the right time. While someone needs to hold down the fort, we missed the summer…

6 “Almost” Olympic runners gathered to put in the work on a beautiful August morning. Some of the faithful Curahee were scattered but 3 from the south came to blaze the trail with us today. We rolled out the Red carpet and tried to keep a good pace so they would feel like the drive was worth it. We covered 5.25 miles in 42 mins with a sub 8:25/mile pace. Some hills and nice scenery made the distance go by quickly. There was much mumble chatter about “Whats Next” on the challenge block and a half Iron Man (after the…
