Two weeks ago, three modern day warriors and one keyboard impaired Q convened to throw around some KBs at Circus Maximus.  Until today, the world was unaware that such events occurred.  Let it be known in the annals of Big Data, that it did indeed occur.  We did have COP, did a beast, some boat/canoes and other various KB exercises.  There was even COT.  No injuries to report.  Our Q just failed to report such activities.  Today, that has been remedied.

It was warm but wet Thursday morning at Circus, which adds a slight element of danger to kettlebelling.  It was Johnsonville’s (YHC) day to Q, and this is what went down, more or less: Mosey over to the far end of the bus loop under the bus loop shelter (which offered little shelter from sideways rain).  Warmup with SSH, don quiote, imperial walkers, LBCs, APDs (two and one leg variations), and arm circles. Dirty McDeuce consisting of the following: Round 1 – 12x sit & press in cadence. 12x merkin rows in cadence. 12x goblet squats in cadence. Bear crawl…

Six modern day warriors convened at Circus Maximus to throw around some cold KBs.  Here is how it went down: COP 25 SSH 15 IW 10 DQ 15 helicopters 10 2x merkins 25 FM 10 scorpion kicks 10 pickle pounders Mosey to the bus loop for a Dora Run the bus loop with 100 sit-n-presses 200 KB swings 300 lawnmower pulls Weighted lunge walk to other end of bus loop Lindsay with KB halos at one end of loop and 2x LBC at other end of loop Weighted lunge walk back to front of bus loop COT with YHC taking…

Thursday at Circus was warm, but wet and rainy.  The PAX was a bit disorganized after the holidays, but earn high marks for getting out of bed despite candy, rain, etc.   Attilla took Q first with a warmup and a triple play involving sit and presses, lawnmower pulls, and bear crawls.  White Deer followed with a number of KB exercises in cadence (halos, snatches, swings, etc.).   YHC (Johnsonville) closed out the hot potato Q first, with wall sits holding the KB overhead, out front, and at various other points, and second, with, an ugly round of 11s having donkey kicks…

A group of Circus Maximus veterans answered the early alarm in order to throw around some KBs.  Here is how it went down: COP 30 2x SSH 12 IW 12 DQ 12 Helicopters 12 Suzanne Somers – each leg 12 2x merkins 30 2x LBC Catch me if you can around the bus loop – one man carries 2 KBs while is partner does 10 burpees; repeat for a total of 50 burpees for each member of the PAX Ground ‘n Pound AMRAP – 30 seconds for each exercise, with a series of breaks of 20, 15, 10 & 5…

Nine needed to get their day started right and posted to the Circus.  Some posted without Kettlebells, others without gloves but we got after it: COP:  Hillbillies, SSH, Merkins, Flutterkicks, Scorpion Kicks, Don Qs. Stay in Circle and grab KBs:  10 Snatch each arm, burpee, then 20 High Pulls.  Repeato dropping by 2 on Snatch & High pulls but increase burpees by 1 until down to 2.
