3 broga veterans welcomed a broga newbie on the mend rose earlier than most to work out the kinks. Moans, groans and other bodily releases were prevalent as numerous areas were worked. Shoulders, hips, groin, hammys, calves and glutes were the target areas. Extended shavasana was enjoyed to the distant pace of Senor Frog getting some early laps in. Good to have Splinter join us as he took advantage of extra protection with an additional towel. Hope the ankle mends quickly. Great work fellas. Namaste.

2 SOJ Broga regulars were greeted by 2 Tuckahoan Brogiis on this Broga takeover attempt. Collars popped so lets get into it. Areas of emphasis included shoulders, quads, hammys, back, hips and grundle areas. Upchuck enjoyed the implementation of the stretchy bands to work out the legs. Shavasana was quite enjoyable with the culmination of DTH’s club remix signaling the conclusion of this Broga session. Good conversation regarding reading materials and interpretation of such. Good to have Upchuck and Lockjaw join in the early work as both are on the mend. Great work fellas.
Pair of veteran brojiis took to the church steps to limber up and ensure all is good during the early shift in Tuckahoe. Shoulders, back, hammys and glutes were the focal point this morning. Stretchy bands were brought out to ensure legs received proper attention. Shavasana was enjoyable in the ideal conditions. Welcome back from vaca, Kubota.
YHC rose early this morning to limber up before the long awaited DoozyQ at No Toll. Broga winky was running strong when a Brogi rookie arrived thru the darkness to his 1st taste of the fine art of Broga. Mr. Roper pulled out his washcloth and joined YHC in a variety of stretches with emphasis on the shoulders, glutes, hammys and back. Pigeon was a crowd favorite as well as Shavasana. Enjoy the day and look forward to Mr. Roper becoming a broga regular in the upcoming weeks.
Idea recently came to me….since I do mobility and other things to help my body get ready for the grind of a Q, why not start a little something on Saturday to help those get ready, stretch and be a little more mobile. A total of 5 came out to the inaugural one. I like to play a little music so 2 classic Pink Floyd song “Time” and “A Great Gig in the Sky” played as we loosened up. A little side bending, dead man hangs, up and down dogs, cat and cow and other stretches/poses were presented. Are you…
A quartet of brogi veterans, including 1 summer traveler, rose 30 minutes before others to limber themselves prior to the marathon beatdown by Splinter. Plenty of groans and heavy breathing ensued on the front porch of the church. Areas of emphasis included hips, hamstrings, shoulders, glutes and others. Extended shavasana led to a brief slumber by YHC. Enjoyed the morning fellas. Appreciate the company.
2 Limber veterans emerged woke with the moon for some stretching before the strike of the silent assassin. Mosey over the church steps for a flat surface. According to the bats and stars, here is what occured. Emphasis this morning was on hips, shoulders and legs. Shavasana was elongated and enjoyable. Finished up at the onset of the sprinklers. Perfect timing.
2 vets and 1 newbie set foot on the bball courts of NoToll to improve their flexibility. The temp/humidity offered up a natural environment for Hot Broga. Some people pay $30 for that! Lots of grunts and groans but we’re better for it and I’m pretty sure we were the best players at Ultimate today. Get yourself out there next time.
Two early risers laid down their mats and did a little Broga Tuesday morning. A perfect morning for a little stretch and conversation. It didn’t help our swings on the baseball diamond however, but we’ll be back because a little stretch is so darn good for you.
A triple of Brogi regulars laid out their embroidered blankets and mats to enjoy some predawn stretching and breathing exercises. Todays efforts concentrated on shoulders, hips, hammys and back. Moans were audible but enjoyed. Deep relaxation was cut short with incoming clown car for SOJ takeover week. Good thing Bodos was not driving. Great work gents. Hope Hutton gets a nap sometime today.
