Nothing much to see here, just 3 dudes appropriately dressed running 3 to 4 miles and one guy dressed to venture North of the Wall. Some good conversation along the way. YHC learned today that Gomer was once known as Rock and the true freaks meet at 0545 near Maymont to ruck around town.

Three early birds gathered around the Early Bird Biscuit Co. store and started running toward Dogpile. The route is the usual, except one detour. Starting with Robinson street to the park, and took left, right around the lakes, and ran up to Dogpile. Return route. Numbers, Names, YHC took us out. NMM: Gomer Pyle will demand respect soon and a good activity was suggested for his birthday–indoor skydiving. He did numerous actual skydiving while serving the country. This somehow led to a story of UpChuck and his high school friend who happens to start iFLY Indoor Skydiving business in Virginia…

Four early bird PAXs gathered around the Early Bird Biscuit Co. store and started running toward Dogpile. The route is the usual, except a couple of detours. Starting with Robinson street to the park, and took left, right around the lakes, and took left toward the toll gate and crossed the road and ran up to Dogpile. Return route PAXs are eager to recruit new breakfast clubber. Numbers, Names, YHC took us out. YHC loves F3RVA PAXs!

3 started and 4 finished the latest version of Breakfast Club. With ET’s still on short rations, the group launched from Early Bird Biscuit Company again today. Temps remained epically steady at sunny and 70. Route – the usual. Robinson to the park, left, right around the lakes, and to Dogpile from behind Swirly’s truck. Finish with the loop around the near circle. On the way back, the three wise men were joined by a fourth, all of who went home by another route. Numbers, Names, Handshake took us out. NMS: Handshake has a turtle in the box. UpChuck was…

4 horsemen rode forth to patrol the Earth while the locals slept soundly during today’s version of Breakfast Club. Temperatures continued at an unseasonably warm sunny and 70. According to the wild beasts roaming in Byrd Park, the PAX took the following route: Start at Early Bird, south on Robinson, left on Lakeview, right on Lake, continue as the name changes to Shields Lake, left on Shirley, right to stay on Shirley, jog across Park (ahem, Gomer) to attempt surprise Swirly in his truck (op unsuccessful – target fully aware of PAX approach). Continue to near circle and reverso back…

After procuring adequate and fully compliant parking, 3 HIM converged on Robinson for the Breakfast Club run. Those some PAX wore pants, the weather was 70 degrees and sunny. Got in 3+ miles with a scenic route around the ponds to Dogpile. Followed by a direct route back to the biscuit joint that took the PAX past where the giant puddle used to be. NMM TCLAPs to Gomer Pyle and UpChuck for the brisk pace on this one! This was the first time that YHC had ran Breakfast Club from Early Bird, and said establishment was actually open. The biscuit…

3 regulars joined for a highly anticipated, rarely experienced Breakfast Club Hot Potato. Temps remained remarkably steady at sunny and 70. 05:30: UpChuck Q – mosey towards the Park. 05:40: Hitchhiker Q – continue mosey towards the Park. 07:05: Handshake Q – mosey back from the Park. Number-am-a, Name-a-ram-a, Handshake took us out. Early Bird Biscuit Company open today. Mmmm. Announcements: Handshake’s hat was MIA at the end of the run. Rescue forces conducted Search and Rescue, later changed to Search and Recovery. Search unsuccessful. Hat officially listed as MIA, but presumed KIA. RIP (Rest in Park).

Five disobeyed mother nature to put in some cold miles before and after the main event. Proper route of ET’s to Dogpile via Robinson then straight shot back was the prescription of the day. Wisdom prevailed as runners plus moseyed via car to Libbie Market for a proper hot breakfast. Place seems like something of a mini Woke-Mart, but breakfast is hot and ready and available at the earliest hour with inside seating as well. Not too shabby.

Two strong stallions braved the chilly (yet somehow 70 sunny) weather to get a pre and post Dogpile run/mosey. Kept the pace good enough to get excellent discussion on medieval systems of governance, books, habits, and what’s popular on YouTube in South Korea. Early Bird was closed again so, no biscuits for you! In every interaction, are you filling that person’s bucket? Or are you dipping from it?

Having confirmed that biscuits would be ready and waiting, 4 men earned them the hard way. Run to and from DogPile. Hitchhiker saved Handshake’s life along the way and revealed plans to have a karaoke bar in his new home once purchased.
