Wilson is keeping it no secret that he’s atop the heap for #BigData through July so far. Well done! On this day he and 10 other seasoned vets put in work before and after the main event. 3.7 miles according to YHC’s tracker. Keep it cool out there.

9 Pax braved the nippiness for an Eighteen-themed workout. At one point mumble chatter was so high YHC forgot the count. Warmarama (IC) SSH – 36 Michael Phelps – 18 Imperial Walkers – 18 Through the Tunnel – 18 Mosey around the pond to the dock, stop and do 18 LBCs IC. Continue around the pond to the clubhouse. The Thang A Field of Dreams-esque workout where the PAX divided into one of the following six stations and completed AMRAP of that stations workout until the PAX at the pull-up station completed 18 reps. From person experience and from what…

11 PAX braved the cold and the blockades for a really random array of rolling, running, and recreation. Because it was Gunner’s 50th/HOF post, Lady Glitter Sparkles was in attendance (fortunately or unfortunately, depending on which PAX you ask), and she certainly made herself known. At least 4 times. Warmarama (IC) SSH – 30 Michael Phelps – 15 Hillbilly Walkers – 15 Through the Tunnel – 15 Indian Run around the block with Lady Glitter Sparkles. Back to the flags and then mosey to the pond. The Thang YHC re-introduced a workout of his own creation, called Dice of Death.…

9 PAX braved the not-so-cold for YHC’s introduction of a (hopefully) ingenious exercise. Warmarama (IC) SSH – 30 Michael Phelps – 15 Imperial Walkers – 15 Through the Tunnel – 15 Mosey around the lake (opposite the usual direction, including Bear Crawl Bridge) to get the blood pumping, then back to the clubhouse. The Thang YHC introduced a workout of my own creation, called Dice of Death. Similar to Deck of Death, but with a set of polyhedral dice (think Dungeons and Dragons). Each die is assigned to a workout: one PAX draws three random dice from a bag and rolls,…

15 PAX were present for YHC’s HOF Q, a heartwarming sight to behold. Lady Glitter Sparkles (LGS) was present per the usual for HOF posts, but whether she was a welcome guest will have to be left to the PAX who had to carry her during the workout. Warmarama (IC): SSH – 30 Through the Tunnel – 15 Arm Circles – 10/10/9 (miscounted, but who is in charge here!?!) Toy Soldiers – 15 The Thang: Indian Run w/LGS around the block. Grab 6 coupons and then mosey to the pond. YHC thought to try something a little different with three…

The PAX were 15 strong for YHC’s VQ. Mumble chatter was low, but there was a call at one point to “visualize a poodle” as we powerwalked from one station to another. We ran out of coupons so several exercises had to be modified to share. Warmarama (IC) SSH – 25 Through the Tunnel – 15 Arm Circles – 10 front/10 back/10 up (aka Chinooks) Toy Soldiers – 15 Carolina Dry Docks – 15 The Thang Grab coupons from the deep, dark woods, mosey to Pond. Exercises were done at each quarter-way stopping point (what do we call those spots…

The “Fartsack” monster has absolutely no hold over me.  However, I am helpless against the “Crackpipe of Mañana” (look it up in the Lexicon) when it comes to parsing out 30 minutes to pull together awards.  With the holidays now behind us, YHC resolves, in the spirit of the new year, to re-establish a regular cadence. A few high-level, summary statistics from F3-HR 2017 to put things into perspective, taken from Big Data that is nearly complete with all such information: Almost 90 PAX posted at our AOs, totaling about 1500 posts altogether; we held about 265 workouts – so…

Another solid week of F3, just a tad light again on the Backblasts.  4 of 6 QICs posted a Backblast, and only 2 were posted within a day to qualify for the Backblast of the Week.  Don’t make it too complicated or cumbersome, brothers.  TIP:  Develop your Weinke in a draft Backblast and save yourself some effort.  Add a few witty quotes and bang – there you have a Backblast. Onto the awards: Q of the Week – Sunshine @ Stinkhill.  Solid beatdown with Kettlebell Mosey followed by a Deck of Death with Sumo Overhead Lift things, LBCs, Burpees, and…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K17s72GR_Fo (Play this music while reading – it adds considerably to the experience!) First, #TClaps to the QICs this week as 5 of 6 Backblasts were posted, and all of the 5 were posted within a day!!! I don’t think Big Data tracks this particular statistic but let the record show the excellent performance rounding out the responsibilities of a QIC. Second, #TClaps to another great week in F3 Hampton Roads.  Another attendance record set, a few FNGs, honoring those lost and affected in Las Vegas and elsewhere, the return of a near-Kotter, innovative Qs – it is clear that…

Just like most things around here, we’ve stolen an idea from F3RVA and made it better.  You’ve probably heard someone reference to Big Data before and here it is in all it’s glory!  Keep in mind, this is all for information only.  It’s not a contest. It’s a tool to see the health of the Hampton Roads region and a motivational tool for you to do with as you see fit. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vM6vxPOPoCqVwpk9ofSOcuoiqhK8UiZq37cSqMHMzFw/edit#gid=1723478757 SYITG Priorities Out
